General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, January 6, reveals that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) needed to rest in the stables for a bit after some family time with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) outside.
Meanwhile, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) complained to his reporter over the phone since there were still three Josiahs he didn’t have an address for.
After Drew offered a reminder about a woman’s life being at stake, he joined Michael, Willow and Wiley.
Drew went with Wiley to see the new foal before the kid went inside the Quartermaine mansion for hot cocoa.
That gave Drew a chance to talk to Willow about Josiah, so she remembered visiting him once with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) after they left the commune.
Willow only recalled visiting that once since it was her first time on an airplane.
Shiloh Archer (Cody Ryan McLaughlin) made Harmony cut all ties with Josiah once she joined Dawn of Day.
Drew was hopeful about Josiah potentially knowing who Willow’s birth mother was and wanted Willow to stay positive.
In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) kitchen, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was surprised to see Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) with her mom.
Carly offered updates on Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death, so Josslyn blurted out this was all her fault.
Josslyn eventually confessed she was the woman “The Hook” targeted before Britt intervened. Dex piped up to explain the gun situation and why they fled from the scene of the crime.
Josslyn convinced Dex to leave while she explained the rest to Carly, who obviously wasn’t happy about the circumstances.
Carly also found out that Josslyn broke up with Cameron Webber (William Lipton), so Joss talked about how hurt he was.
Although Josslyn acknowledged that she knew Carly would’ve been there for her, she had to figure out some things on her own.
Carly urged Josslyn to always call her when there was danger and expressed her love.
At GH, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) ordered Frank take the box of Britt’s belongings to Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) car.
Nina wondered where Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was, so Sonny asked if Liesl knew Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) was there at the hospital.
An alarmed Nina rushed off to find Liesl before it was too late.
In Esme’s room, Liesl said her daughter had been taken from her via hook, so she was looking for her pound of flesh.
Obrecht threatened Esme with a syringe despite her pleas of innocence and no memory of what happened.
Liesl put a cloth in Esme’s mouth to silence her and seemed rattled when she saw her baby bump.
Obrecht drugged Esme anyway, so she passed out just before Nina arrived looking horrified.
Nina wondered what Liesl had done, but Liesl said nothing yet since it was just a sedative to keep Esme quiet.
Obrecht grabbed a pillow like she was going to smother Esme, so Nina fought to yank it away.
Liesl only wanted to hurt Esme and not the baby, but Nina insisted Britt wouldn’t want this and hustled Liesl away.
Esme was unsettled when she woke up soon after, but Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) acted like it must’ve been a bad dream.
When Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) saw Sonny, he revealed that he was the father of Esme’s baby and got physically attacked over it.
Nikolas later wanted to see Esme, but Elizabeth warned him to stay away to avoid jogging Esme’s memory.
At Kelly’s, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) told Cameron about Esme being captured and filled him in on her pregnancy.
Cam learned Nikolas was the father and that Esme claimed to have amnesia about everything.
Since Cameron was acting weird, Spencer ultimately got him to admit Josslyn broke up with him last night.
That left Spencer wondering if this was because of “that jerk Dex” before Sonny arrived with the news of Britt’s death.
Spencer was in denial at first since he saw Britt having the time of her life last night.
However, Sonny was adamant that Britt was the latest hook victim and explained what he knew.
Spencer took a moment to grieve on the staircase nearby before leaving with Sonny.
Since Dex also made an appearance at Kelly’s, he shared a tense look with Cam at one point.
While Liesl was resting, Nina went through some of Britt’s belongings – though she didn’t see that Willow’s medical file was included.
Back with Willow, she got a phone call from Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and assumed this was about her chemo results.
Willow was floored to learn a bone marrow donor match had been found and celebrated with Michael.
