General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) has her hands full with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and her job at The Invader, but she may have to make more time for her messed-up mother eventually.
GH fans will recall how Esme paid Heather Webber (Alley Mills) a visit at Pentonville in July, which proved quite unsettling.
Esme can’t remember her past, but she also can’t trust Heather considering her mental state.
That’s a tricky situation to be in, but there’s definitely more to explore when it comes to Heather and Esme’s complicated relationship.
Heather implied that Esme was responsible for the demise of her adoptive parents, which is something fans speculated from the very beginning.
Since Esme still has questions about her history, she may not be able to stay away from Heather indefinitely.
Heather might even escape from prison somewhere down the line and pull Esme into another tangled web of chaos.
Regardless, Avery Pohl seems on board with telling more Heather-related stories for Esme since she really enjoys working with Alley Mills.
In the newest issue of SOD, Pohl opened up about Esme’s connection to Heather and where it might go from here.
“It’s so twisted and fun!” Pohl exclaimed when gushing over Esme and Heather’s complex link. “I hope I get to work with her again soon.”
Pohl went on to talk about the details of Esme’s past that still need to be uncovered before she can truly move on – and she hinted that “Heather is a part of all that.”
It’ll be interesting to see how Heather fits in the picture moving forward and if she might play a role in jogging Esme’s memory at some point.
It’s just tough to believe Esme’s amnesia will last forever, so she might actually get close to Heather once her memories come flooding back.
Without Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) around, Esme might be willing to bond with her birth mom and get to know Heather a bit better.
Whether that happens while Heather’s behind bars or on the loose, she’s family to Esme – and that may matter to them both down the road.
In other words, Esme and Heather have unfinished business! Heather knows more than she’s letting on when it comes to Esme’s history, so stay tuned for updates on any news she might spill.
