General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) could find herself a target once again. GH fans know Ava was the first hook victim, but she survived and certainly isn’t out of danger.
That’s especially true since Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is hung up on his former flame.
Ryan has some delusional dream of being a family of five with Ava, Heather Webber (Alley Mills), Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and her impending bundle of joy.
Does Ryan honestly believe Heather and Ava are going to be his sister wives?
Regardless, Ryan has always carried a torch for Ava and would like for her to be in the picture.
Heather, on the other hand, seems disgusted over the idea of Ava being in their happy fam.
There’s no way Ava would ever agree to this anyway, but we’re not dealing with logical people here.
It’s easy to imagine Heather deciding to take matters into her own hands and make sure Ava never joins their family unit. If Ava is dead, then she obviously can’t be included.
More importantly, hooking Ava while Esme is in police custody would help clear the latter’s name.
Esme is facing murder charges, so Heather’s priority is throwing suspicion off her and hopefully getting those charges dropped.
However, Heather can kill two birds with one hook if she makes Ava her next victim. That would explain why Heather was so vague with Ryan about her plans.
Perhaps Heather wants to hook Ava and convince Ryan it’s for the best in the aftermath.
Maybe Heather hopes Ryan will be so relieved about Esme’s freedom that he forgets all about Ava.
Heather would definitely like to be the only love interest in Ryan’s life, so Ava will need to watch her back!
It’d be interesting if GH writers chose to make the first hook victim the last hook victim to bring the storyline full circle.
Ava could potentially be the one to unmask Heather and rat her out to the PCPD.
Of course, Ava would have to make sure she survived first! Will Ava fear death is imminent when “The Hook” strikes again?
