General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) could make Heather Webber (Alley Mills) suffer once she learns the shocking truth. Heather’s venomous hook is the reason Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is dead, so Obrecht will face that bombshell eventually.
Of course, Liesl feels alone now that she’s lost both Britt and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
Although Obrecht still has people like Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in her life, they can’t replace her beloved children.
Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) baby can’t replace Liesl’s kids either, but stealing that bundle of joy could help Obrecht feel better!
Heather robbed Liesl of her daughter, so she might turn the tables and rob Heather of her new grandchild.
Perhaps Liesl could decide Esme isn’t mother material anyway and plan to give her baby to a more suitable mom.
If Obrecht’s grief really drives her off the rails, she might even decide to start over with a baby and do everything right this time.
Liesl feels a tremendous amount of guilt when it comes to Britt’s childhood and all the affection she withheld.
Although Obrecht tried to make things up to Britt later on, she obviously couldn’t go back and fix what she did wrong.
Maybe Liesl could think of Esme’s baby as a do-over and want to get it away from the serial killer family it’s being born into.
Whatever the case, there’s the potential for Esme’s baby to get snatched if that’s how GH writers want to take this storyline.
Heather was delighted when Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) offered updates on Esme’s pregnancy.
It’s clear that Heather is quite excited about being a grandma, but Liesl could hope to destroy her happiness down the road.
Heather doesn’t realize it yet, but she’s made herself a dangerous enemy by murdering Britt.
Obrecht is a wildcard who’s been known to carry out some pretty wild schemes, so it wouldn’t be all that surprising if she stole Heather’s grandkid for revenge.
