General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the hunt for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will continue, but the clock is ticking since the Nurses Ball is coming up. The week of April 3-7 will bring this long-awaited event, so fans will see lots of gorgeous gowns, amazing acts and so much more.
Of course, Lucy usually runs the show when it comes to the Nurses Ball, so it’d be a shame if she missed it.
We’d say there’s no chance GH writers will let that happen, so Lucy should escape captivity before the festivities get underway.
It may be a situation that gets played up for dramatic effect – like if Lucy is rescued out of the country and races home just in time to take the stage with a mic.
Lucy might just barely make it and insist she wouldn’t miss this for the world!
Then again, the rest of Port Charles could decide that the show must go on and do this Nurses Ball as a tribute of sorts.
Perhaps everyone will decide Lucy would want them to carry on without her.
That’d be a great setup for Lucy to escape and barge right in for a takeover.
There could be a big reveal mid-Nurses Ball that finally brings answers about Lucy’s time in captivity
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is to blame for Lucy’s hostage mess, but Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are working hard to track her down.
Since Lucy is a pretty resourceful gal, she could even break free on her own down the line.
That might lead to a real shocker if Lucy crashes the Nurses Ball for that big reveal we mentioned.
Whatever the case, the return of this charity gala will set up some chaos involving Victor, the Ice Princess and several beloved characters of the past.
Victor has been preparing for battle, but let’s hope Lucy can get away from the nightmare she’s been stuck in.
After Lucy’s horrible ordeal, she deserves her moment to shine at the Nurses Ball and a breather once it’s all over.
