General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will have a huge decision to make after Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) scores proof that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a criminal.
Based on what the hidden camera captures at the Pikeman meeting, there’ll be enough evidence to put Sonny in prison for the rest of his life.
Once Dex hands the video over to Michael, he’ll catch up with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and hope this will all be over soon.
Dex will look forward to being free from the mob, even if he feels a bit guilty about betraying his fake boss for his real one.
Of course, Josslyn may have some lingering fears about Dex’s safety, but she’ll also hang onto hope that Dex’s freedom is just around the corner.
However, there’ll be a problem since Michael has slowly but surely been softening toward Sonny.
It seems like Michael is starting to understand that Sonny still has a good heart and loves his family.
Sonny pulled some strings and made sure the SEC got thrown off the trail when it came to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Now they believe Drew took a flight from San Diego to Maui, so they’ll be investigating the wrong area entirely while Drew’s mission continues in Greenland.
That’ll prove helpful to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) since Drew can still do his part to help bring Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) home.
GH spoilers hint that Willow will get some startling news during the week of May 1-5, so it sounds like Michael will come clean about his plans for Sonny once Dex delivers the incriminating video.
Naturally, this will raise the stakes and make it even more important for Willow to talk Michael out of making a horrible mistake.
Willow may warn that if Michael does this, he’ll be doing permanent damage to his family and will take away the father of Sonny’s young daughters.
Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) don’t deserve to suffer because of Michael’s inability to let go of a grudge.
That’s why Willow may finally get through to Michael, especially after her health takes another nosedive.
It’ll give Willow a chance to remind Michael of how precious life is and how you have to cling to the people you love.
Michael still loves Sonny deep down, even if he doesn’t want to admit it.
During the week of May 8-12, it appears Michael will decide to call off his revenge plot since he’ll make a significant choice and leave Dex caught off guard.
Michael’s decision could have a major impact on Dex, who was counting on him to expose Sonny so that he could finally get out of this criminal organization.
