General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, January 30 Recap – Willow Rejects Nina’s Offer – Valentin’s Safehouse Surprise

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, January 30, reveals Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) broke away from their intimate embrace at GH. Although Drew and Carly hoped no one saw them, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) came around the corner and acknowledged that they looked cozy.

After Nina and Carly bickered about the damage each of them had done, Carly spoke to Drew alone again.

Drew was concerned that Nina might know they were romantically involved and that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might’ve told her about the insider trading drama.

However, Carly thought Nina would be rubbing it in their faces if she knew anything, so she reassured Drew.

In Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) room, she was with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) when Sonny paid her a visit.

Sonny was excited to meet his new grandbaby and hinted about Nina being excited as well, but then he worried maybe they weren’t welcome.

Sonny later joined Nina and offered updates on the new strategy to save Willow.

Since Nina assumed Willow was putting on a brave face for Michael, she decided maybe there was a way to help her daughter after all.

When Nina visited Willow, she pointed out that Willow perhaps couldn’t be honest with Michael about her fears.

Nina invited Willow to open up to her, but Willow was wary of blurring lines and crossing boundaries.

Once Nina felt rejected all over again, she accepted Sonny’s comforting hug.

Willow’s C-section was moved up, so Nina exchanged a look with Willow as she was wheeled onto an elevator for prep in the OR.

Meanwhile, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) arrived at Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) house earlier than expected.

It turns out Stella cut her latest London visit short so she could come home for wedding preparations.

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) had to attend Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) memorial, so Stella said she’d drop Trina off at GH before meeting Portia ahead of her wedding dress pickup.

At one point, Trina talked to Stella about the cousin she met through a genealogy website.

That led to Trina admitting she got a relative match when she was on a genealogy site in high school, but she chickened out of looking into it any further.

When Stella found out Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had been asking Trina questions about that genealogy site, it left her looking suspicious.

Stella caught up with Curtis and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) briefly, but the conversation got uncomfortable when she asked how the music was coming for the marriage ceremony.

Curtis changed the subject and ultimately spoke with Marshall alone. When Marshall revealed that he’d already had the genetic testing done like Curtis and Portia wanted, Curtis was thrilled.

However, Marshall worried the news wouldn’t be good and pointed out he might not have the results back in time for the performance.

Curtis assured Marshall that he didn’t care about that and just wanted his father at the wedding.

At the hospital again, Jordan cornered Portia and revealed that she’d spoken to Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) earlier.

Taggert had some concerns about security at the nuptials since Trina and those she loved could be targeted.

Portia accused Jordan of butting in since she already spoke with Taggert about that herself.

Since Portia felt like Portia was judging her for keeping secrets about Trina, she lashed out at her rival.

Portia acted like Jordan was causing trouble because she wanted Curtis for herself, but Jordan flashed back to moments when she’d been helpful to the extreme.

Jordan recalled tipping Curtis off to Trina being taken into custody – and she remembered pulling the emergency lever to create a diversion for Portia, who was able to bring Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) out of his coma.

After Jordan ranted about Portia having no idea what she’d done for her family, Stella interrupted and spoke with Jordan in private.

Once Stella brought up the genealogy test situation, she felt like something was off.

Since Jordan also spoke with Trina about that genealogy test, Stella guessed that Jordan thought something was suspicious about it, too.

At the safehouse, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) excused herself under the guise of picking up allergy medication, but she actually went to retrieve Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain).

That led to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) warm reunion with his daughter, but he was concerned when Charlotte mentioned standing up to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

After Valentin warned against doing that again, he assured Charlotte that Victor wouldn’t keep them apart.

Charlotte also realized that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) must be pretty special to Valentin, so she wound up sharing a sweet moment with her, too.

Back in Port Charles, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) got a manicure with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and opened up about Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) being determined to sell Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage.

Maxie offered advice on hanging onto the memories and love instead of the material things, so Sasha appreciated the pep talk.

General Hospital spoilers say Gladys’ shady activities will create some big issues soon, so stay tuned!
