General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, January 9, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will accompany Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) to Wyndemere, where Spencer will inform Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) that he can’t live in that house any longer.
Victor is still in charge of Spencer at the moment, but he’ll relent and agree they can stay elsewhere.
While Spencer is gathering up his things, Victor will suggest a mutually beneficial arrangement with Sonny.
Although Sonny will warn it’s not happening, Victor will try to convince him to find some common ground regarding Spencer.
However, Sonny will think he knows best as far as Spencer’s concerned and will warn Victor to back off.
Later, Spencer will show up at GH, where he’ll want to see Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and hopefully figure out if she’s faking her memory loss.
It seems Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will try to keep Spencer out of his ex-girlfriend’s hospital room, but Spencer will ultimately meet with Esme anyway.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will get some stunning updates from Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) regarding Esme’s impending bundle of joy.
Finn will be hurt over Elizabeth’s revelation, so it sounds like he’ll finally understand that she lied to protect Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) “baby daddy” secret.
Nevertheless, Liz may keep the recent hostage situation under wraps and just spill the pregnancy cover-up she helped with.
Over with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll talk to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about the possibility of eliminating Esme as a suspect in the hook case.
While Jordan and Dante debate, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will get a visit from Nikolas and marvel over his latest catastrophe.
Esme is carrying Nikolas’ baby, so Alexis should end up reeling over that bombshell.
At Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) apartment, she’ll welcome Ava Jerome (Maura West) in and perhaps express concern about her desire for vengeance on Nikolas.
Ava will indeed lay out some sort of plan, so Nina will want her friend to be careful.
There’ll also be questions about Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) box of belongings, so Nina will explain before Sonny shows her something important.
After Sonny finds a medical chart indicating Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) leukemia and delayed treatment, he’ll bring Nina in the loop.
Nina will face that stunning news and decide to confront Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) since she’ll think he’s at fault for the treatment delay choice.
GH fans know Nina has a closer connection to all this than she realizes.
Nina is Willow’s biological mother and could also be the bone marrow donor match that was just found in the registry.
Willow’s going to face some worries about the procedure when she meets with Terry to discuss her next steps.
There’ll be some reservations on Willow’s part based on what Terry tells her.
Michael will give Willow all the support she needs, but they’re both in for a shock when the truth about Nina is revealed in the coming episodes.
It sounds like Willow’s own bio mom will provide a life-saving bone marrow donation in the very near future.
