General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) obviously isn’t acting like himself right now due to his traumatic brain injury. Since Ned has somehow convinced himself that he’s Eddie Maine, we should think about how his personality changes will affect his actions moving forward.
Of course, Ned’s condition has already made him eager to ditch the Quartermaine lifestyle and head for Vegas.
Now that “Eddie” has disappeared from the hospital, he’ll leave his family in freak-out mode with all their questions.
However, GH fans saw “Eddie” appear behind Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) at The Savoy.
On the June 26 episode, “Eddie” will insist Nina’s just the person he wanted to see and will shake her hand as he gets to know her with this new persona.
“Eddie” will apparently have a favor or two to ask Nina, but it’ll be Sonny who suggests he should come stay at the penthouse.
Nina, on the other hand, will secretly encourage “Eddie” to follow his heart and leave for Vegas or parts unknown.
From “Eddie’s” perspective, it’ll seem like Nina is one of the only people in Port Charles who isn’t pressuring him to be the person he was before.
Nina will embrace “Eddie” and his fresh start, so “Eddie” will find himself drawn to her.
It’ll lead “Eddie” to trust Nina since he won’t know she has a hidden agenda.
As far as “Eddie” is concerned, Nina will be a lovely woman who supports his music endeavors and doesn’t think he should feel obligated to make the Quartermaines happy.
In other words, Nina will tell “Eddie” exactly what he wants to hear and will pull him closer as a result.
That could backfire once Sonny convinces “Eddie” to stick around and use his connections for a revived music career.
“Eddie” may feel like Nina’s the only one he can lean on, so it could lead to some romantic feelings on his part.
It’d easy to imagine “Eddie” pouring his heart out and planting a kiss at some point.
This situation could get extra messy if “Eddie” starts crushing hard on Sonny’s fiancée and tries to steal her away!
General Hospital spoilers say Nina may have to make some updates to her tactics in that case, so stay tuned for news on what’s brewing for “Eddie.”
