General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) won’t feel any connection to the Quartermaines or the Q mansion. Since “Eddie” can’t remember his own family, he certainly won’t want to return home.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will come through for “Eddie” by suggesting he could come stay at his penthouse.
Since “Eddie” won’t have anywhere better to go, he’ll decide to take Sonny up on the offer.
However, “Eddie” will waver on his decision when he sees how upset Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is.
Olivia will try to jog Ned’s memory through a photo album, but nothing will come back to him.
Although “Eddie” will have sympathy for Olivia, he won’t think he can be the man she wants him to be.
The same goes for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and anyone else who expects “Eddie” to be Ned again.
“Eddie” will only remember his music career and a few fuzzy memories of Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), so he won’t feel like he fits in the Quartermaine clan anymore.
With all that in mind, “Eddie” will consider leaving Port Charles altogether.
That’ll be a great idea as far as Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is concerned, but GH spoilers say Sonny will make another offer in hopes of keeping “Eddie” in town.
After Sonny points out he’s got some connections that could help, he’ll make a pitch about reviving “Eddie’s” music career and making him a big star.
If “Eddie” will stick around, Sonny will act like he can give him a fresh start in the industry.
Of course, Nina will know that if “Eddie” stays in PC after all, it’ll boost the chances that he’ll remember she snitched to the SEC.
Ned could experience total recall and rat Nina out for exposing Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) insider trading.
That’s why Nina will privately give “Eddie” a nudge to leave town like he previously planned.
Nina will act like she completely understands “Eddie’s” desire to make a clean break and find a new beginning elsewhere.
Although “Eddie” will appreciate Nina’s support, his desire to reboot his music career may win out.
Sonny’s connections may be too tempting to pass up, so “Eddie” may go along with Sonny’s proposal and remain in PC.
