General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, January 16 to January 27, tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will try to nail down some answers regarding Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) former nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald.
The week of January 16-20 will bring some intriguing new Maggie developments.
Sam apparently hit some dead ends when she previously searched for Maggie, but she’ll have Alexis to help her out this time around.
Over with Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’ll form a twisted alliance.
Ava may join forces with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) since he’s about to make some bold moves against Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also summon Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) for a meeting in hopes of going after custody of Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) baby.
Diane may warn there’ll be challenges with that plan, but Spencer will think he needs to take charge of the situation.
After Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) reveals she’s Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother and convinces Willow it’s true, she’ll rush off to get tested.
That’ll leave Nina nervously awaiting news on whether she’s a bone marrow match.
Nina will continue to fume over Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) deception – and it looks like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will hurl accusations at his ex-wife regarding her vengeful motives.
GH spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) won’t be willing to give Nina a pass for her previous behavior, but he’ll be hopeful about a life-saving match for Willow.
As for Carly, she may face Michael’s wrath since he’s going to unleash some!
Willow will refuse to treat Nina any differently at this point, but Nina will lean on Sonny and perhaps hope that changes.
Next, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will get a tough surprise, so that could involve spotting a kiss between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
It’s possible Cameron will punch Dex after realizing he’s partly to blame for Cam’s breakup with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
It could even lead to some legal drama for Cameron depending on how all this goes down during the week of January 23-27.
Speaking of legal drama, Nikolas could be facing some of his own thanks to Victor and Ava’s alliance.
We’ll see Nikolas turn to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) for support and plead his case soon after.
Later, Laura will have some difficult news to share. Victor will also blow his top, so there’s a chance Nikolas will skip town if he feels like the walls are closing in.
Nik would surely rather go on the run than get arrested for holding Esme hostage or her attempted murder, but we’ll see how things play out with his imminent exit.
Other GH spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will push Heather Webber (Alley Mills) to meet a deadline.
Heather will need to deliver some useful hook information from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) or else she won’t be able to keep staying at cushy Spring Ridge.
Of course, viewers know things are more complicated than they seem since Heather is behind “The Hook” attacks, but she’ll have to cover for herself as best as she can.
Elsewhere, Nina will give Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) updates on Willow being her biological daughter, so she’ll let her emotions pour out and get some comfort.
Meanwhile, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will receive guidance from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) before clarifying his feelings.
Could Drew be convinced to give Carly one more chance?
Nina will be taken aback over what she sees, so she might be furious if she spies Carly kissing and making up with Drew after what she did.
Carly’s deception will leave Nina seething and perhaps determined to get some payback.
As for Willow, she’ll have a hard decision to make.
If Nina’s a bone marrow match as predicted, Willow will still have to decide whether she’ll go through with a premature delivery like Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) recommends.
On another note, Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) will finally understand Victor’s sinister side, so she’ll lash out at him.
Grandpa Victor will have to answer for some of the mistakes he’s made, but he’ll no doubt try to spin them.
Across town, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will connect the dots, so it sounds like he’ll realize the Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) he knows is indeed Sasha’s mother-in-law.
Gladys’ poker debt could become a problem that Cody tries to fix for Sasha’s sake.
