General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) amnesia claims have complicated things for the PCPD, but Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will remain determined to uncover the truth.
Of course, Esme can’t offer answers about where she’s been without her memories – at least if this amnesia is legit.
Regardless, Esme isn’t ratting Nikolas out right now, but the evidence could still point in his direction.
GH fans know Esme had a Christmas ornament on her when she was found, so that ornament has been mentioned repeatedly.
The writers wouldn’t have made it such a key piece of evidence if it wasn’t going to matter somehow.
Dante sent the ornament off to forensics, so it’ll be analyzed and could leave Nikolas in a tight spot.
It’s possible Nikolas’ fingerprints will be on it from being touched at some point – or maybe it’ll lead to some artist who designed it especially for the Cassadine clan.
Whatever the case, there’ll surely be some trail to follow. It could lead straight to Nikolas in the end and help Dante start crafting a plausible story.
Dante may eventually come to believe Nikolas pushed Esme off the parapet and was trying to murder his “baby mama.”
We also know that confession video still exists and could be leaked. Ava Jerome (Maura West) might go against Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) on this and release it anyway.
Now that Ava knows Esme is pregnant with Nikolas’ baby, she’s absolutely furious and craving revenge more than ever before.
It could ultimately look like Nikolas tried to kill Esme once by throwing her off the parapet – and then tried to kill her again using the same method.
Esme actually tumbled off the first time during a fight with Ava and hurled herself intentionally the second time.
The problem is there’ll be no proof of that, but the evidence could start adding up to make Nikolas look like an attempted murderer.
Esme might eventually claim she remembers Nikolas shoving her and help seal his fate.
No matter how this plays out, the ornament could get the ball rolling on Nikolas’ downfall.
Will Nikolas wind up in prison since his exit is looming? Nikolas may scramble to make some strategy updates, but it may be too late to avoid landing behind bars.
Whether Nikolas goes down for the captivity situation, attempted murder or both, there’s going to be trouble!
