General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) feud will continue. Josslyn never misses an opportunity to trash Nina and add to the tension that always seems to be growing between them.
During the week of February 13-17, Nina and Josslyn will once again have a showdown.
There’s probably a good reason why GH writers insist on keeping Josslyn and Nina at odds.
Based on a few onscreen moments and some spoilers as well, there are hints that Nina may ultimately decide Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) fate.
The show has set up two big secrets involving Dex, so Nina could become privy to one or both.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) certainly wouldn’t approve if he knew Dex and Josslyn were romantically involved.
That’s why Josslyn begged Cameron Webber (William Lipton) to keep his mouth shut and help protect Dex from Sonny’s wrath.
Nina could easily witness something or overhear some news since Dex will be hanging around Josslyn at Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner).
That could lead to Nina realizing both Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Josslyn have romances they’d rather keep under wraps – like mother, like daughter!
However, there’s a far worse secret that could fall into Nina’s hands at some point.
If Nina discovers Dex has been working with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) on a Sonny takedown plot, she’s going to be furious.
Josslyn will find out about Dex and Michael’s partnership soon, so she may worry about what’ll happen if the whole truth’s exposed.
Considering how the writers have played up this Nina and Josslyn friction, it may be time to shift gears and have Josslyn beg Nina not to tell Sonny anything that’d hurt Dex.
Of course, Nina can’t keep her mouth shut and let Sonny go to prison – at least not if she can help it.
Nevertheless, Nina might be willing to put in a good word for Dex to spare his life.
It’s clear that Nina has a great deal of influence over Sonny, so this may be the one time that it works in Josslyn’s favor.
Nina may become the only thing that keeps Dex from a deadly outcome – that is if she’s willing to ask Sonny to show mercy.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will experience some power shifts when it comes to Carly, Josslyn and some of the other enemies she’s made along the way, so stay tuned for updates on her rise to the top.
