General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) have a soapy road ahead of them. Willow hates Nina’s guts and has even gone as far as telling this woman to drop dead!
In other words, Nina and Willow have a long way to go before they can have a strong mother-daughter bond.
However, they have to start somewhere – and Nina serving as Willow’s bone marrow donor could provide a lovely new beginning.
The fact that Nina’s most likely going to save Willow’s life could go a long way toward easing the tension.
GH spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will still be pretty irritated with Nina, but Willow has proven more forgiving than him in other situations.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Nina and Willow are going to have the perfect bond right after their mother-daughter connection comes to light.
Real relationships take work to build, especially if you start out as enemies.
Plus, there’s still the matter of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and the Grandma Nina ban Willow’s been enforcing.
At one point, Willow physically pulled Wiley away from Nina after he ran up to hug her in the park, so that says a lot about her level of trust.
Nina may have more work to do if she wants to carve out a proper spot in the family.
Saving Willow’s life will help, but there could be another opportunity for Nina to do a good deed.
Willow is pregnant with a baby girl that’ll need to be delivered down the road.
Although some babies are born at the hospital on soaps, just as many of them are born in less desirable circumstances.
For example, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) helped a woman deliver a breech baby at the Quartermaine mansion since the roads were blocked.
Willow could face a similar emergency delivery, but Britt obviously won’t be around to handle the crisis.
It’s easy to imagine Nina getting trapped in an elevator with Willow or locked in a room with her somewhere.
Willow might go into labor and have to rely on Nina’s help to bring her little girl into the world.
Nina could help deliver her own granddaughter, so this might truly be a turning point that helps Willow see her in a new light.
General Hospital spoilers say Willow will get some shocking updates on her birth mom soon, so the news about Nina will begin another phase of the story.
