General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have a renewed sense of hope after she finds out about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) new treatment option. Although Nina wasn’t able to save Willow herself, she’ll feel like her daughter can still pull through.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) made Nina promise that she wouldn’t give up, so Nina will indeed keep fighting for a relationship with Willow.
Of course, it’ll be a delicate situation considering how much Willow previously hated Nina and all the battles they’ve fought.
However, Willow’s heart will be full after her baby girl comes into the world. It could soften Willow a bit since she’ll be so moved by her own daughter.
Perhaps Willow will start to understand Nina a bit better in that moment.
Nina’s baby girls were ripped away from her, so she was never given a chance to raise or love them.
Willow may admit she loves this little one so much already that she can’t even imagine that. It could make Willow more sympathetic to Nina’s side of all this.
Nina won’t want to come on too strong, but she may test the waters of a new beginning.
As part of that plan, GH spoilers say Nina will have a sentimental present – perhaps as a peace offering and a way to connect with Willow.
It makes sense that Nina will want to give Willow her half of the heart pendant.
That could bring another sensitive subject since it’ll involve talking about the other pendant half, which belonged to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).
Nevertheless, that might lead to a bonding opportunity as well.
Willow might wonder if things had been different if she’d known Nelle was her sister – if she could’ve gotten through to her somehow.
Regardless, Willow will forever be grateful for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver), so she can’t regret Nelle’s existence.
We should also point out that Willow once had an intriguing reaction to the pendant Nina was wearing – like she might’ve recognized it on some level.
Willow revealed that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) didn’t really hang onto family heirlooms, so the necklace could’ve been in Willow’s hands at some point and given away.
Nina didn’t find out about these pendants until much later, so maybe Willow indeed had one when she was tiny.
Willow may have some news on that, so we’ll see if she offers updates following Nina’s gift.
Whatever the case, Willow may surprise Nina by accepting the necklace and showing some gratitude.
It could mark a turning point and help Nina make some progress, which is the best she can hope for right now.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will do whatever it takes to bond with Willow, even if it’ll be a long road to building a real relationship.
