General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the show may be setting Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) up for a huge fall. Curtis has admitted that although he knows it’d be the messier option for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), he desperately wants her to be his bio daughter.
Of course, soaps don’t often give a character their heart’s desire!
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) desperately wanted to be Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) bone marrow match, but the show didn’t grant that wish and ultimately made Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) the match instead.
The more Curtis talks about wanting to be Trina’s father, the more likely it becomes that he won’t get his wish either.
There’s no confirmation yet on whether Curtis will be proven as the bio dad, but it’s troubling for him to talk about how much it’ll hurt if he’s not.
That could mean Curtis will indeed face devastation if the DNA results prove Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is the real deal.
GH writers have left the door open for some paternity test tampering if they want to change things later, but the stage has perhaps been set for Curtis’ disappointment.
Curtis will soon try to work things out with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) – and that may be partly due to the DNA test outcome.
Maybe Curtis will be more inclined to reunite with Portia if it turns out nothing changed and she didn’t rob him of all those years with Trina after all.
During the week of May 29-June 2, General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will break Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) heart all over again with some bad news.
Jordan was hoping for another chance with Curtis, but it seems he’ll try to move forward in his current marriage instead.
Back when Portia and Curtis were happily planning their wedding, they considered the possibility of having children together.
That’s something Curtis seemed very interested in doing before he found out Trina could be his potential flesh and blood.
Could Portia and Curtis revisit the idea if Trina is proven to be Taggert’s instead?
Will Portia offer Curtis a second-chance baby and suggest she could get pregnant with his son or daughter?
Naturally, Portia’s age could be a factor along with the current stage of her life.
With Trina in college, it’d be quite a challenge for Portia to start all over with a new little one.
However, we have to consider the option since Portia and Curtis have discussed having kids together before.
Maybe all that was setting things up for Portia to at least offer this second-chance baby to Curtis.
