General Hospital Spoilers Recap: Friday, April 14 – Brook Lynn & Maxie Plan Wedding - Trina Contacts Portia & Curtis

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, April 14, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) spent some time in the workout room with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Chase talked about the civilian complaint review board meeting today to determine if he could be a cop again.

After Chase rehashed all his issues with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), he pointed out that he couldn’t trust her.

Gregory thought everyone deserved another chance, which led to Finn and Chase urging him to give his friendship with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) another shot.

At The Invader, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) stopped by to discuss all the Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) chaos with Alexis, who also pointed out that her daughter had been in court helping Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) earlier.

Sam offered updates on some of the stolen bracelet details and Cody’s claims of being framed.

Alexis seemed uneasy over Sam’s involvement, but she acted like she knew better than to butt in.

Sam determined that Alexis was thinking about how she tried to help Gregory before it backfired.

After Alexis hinted about knowing what Gregory’s problem was now, she suggested he’d cut her out completely and assumed she’d never see him again.

However, Gregory proved Alexis wrong when he arrived at her office a little later.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn called Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) over to the Quartermaine gatehouse to tackle a critical mission, so Maxie came straight from the hair salon with new brunette locks.

Once Brook Lynn pushed for Maxie’s help planning Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) wedding, Maxie acted like it was impossible to get everything done by tomorrow.

Nevertheless, Brook Lynn thought this would be a piece of cake for Maxie after the way she threw the Nurses Ball together so fast.

After Maxie relented, she started making plans for the nuptials and suggested Brook Lynn could write a song for Chase to sing.

Brook Lynn didn’t think Chase would be on board since it’d mean working with her.

Brook Lynn also mentioned the civilian complaint review board meeting to decide Chase’s fate and wondered if maybe she could do more to help him.

Maxie pushed Brook Lynn to head to that meeting, so Brook Lynn locked eyes with Chase when she found him ahead of the other arrivals.

Chase seemed pleased over Brook Lynn coming to support him.

On The Haunted Star, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) held a knife to Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) throat and suggested Victor’s plan couldn’t proceed if he killed her.

Victor invited Spencer to make that deadly move if he wanted, but he pointed out that Spencer would be sealing Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) grim fate.

Without Liesl’s expertise, Ace couldn’t be inoculated against the pathogen that Victor planned to unleash.

Spencer didn’t think Victor would risk his own life by releasing that pathogen without protecting himself, but Victor was prepared to make that sacrifice.

After Spencer finally released Liesl and put the knife down, Victor had his men restrain both Spencer and Obrecht.

Liesl was taken back to her room as Victor vowed to send her the pathogen info later.

As for Spencer, he tried to backtrack and act like he could work with Victor on a new solution, but Victor felt it was too late due to Spencer’s betrayal.

Victor now planned to raise Ace and mold him into the proper Cassadine heir, but Spencer said Victor would do it over his dead body.

Although Victor warned that could be arranged, he ultimately admitted he wouldn’t kill Spencer.

That said, there had to be consequences for Spencer’s behavior, so he made it clear that his great-nephew was a full-blown prisoner now and wouldn’t be given food.

While the guards were busy dealing with all the Spencer drama, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) snuck in the communications room and found a satellite phone.

Once Trina used that phone to call Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she revealed that she was trapped on The Haunted Star after following Spencer.

Trina mentioned that Victor wasn’t aware she was on the ship, but she needed help.

Portia rushed out of her office at GH and interrupted Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) conversation with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so they all spoke to Trina on speakerphone.

Since Laura was familiar with the communications room, she helped guide Trina toward the radar screen and got some coordinates that could help pinpoint the ship’s location.

After Trina heard Victor’s henchman approaching, she insisted she had to go.

Curtis warned Trina not to take the phone with her since they’d figure out it was missing.

Once Trina assured Portia of her love and hung up, she started to make a hasty exit.

Trina noticed a walkie talkie on her way out and took it with her, so one of Victor’s men quickly noticed it was gone.

Spencer caught a glimpse of Trina as he was being led back to his room, so she gave him a thumbs up to let him know things had gone well on her end.

Of course, General Hospital spoilers say more problems are on the horizon for Trina and Spencer as long as they remain on The Haunted Star with Victor, so stay tuned.
