General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, May 12, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) met up with Ava Jerome (Maura West) at The Savoy for a drink. After Nina admitted Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) offered her a way to make peace, she suggested she already screwed it up.
Nina didn’t see how she could do the favor Willow wanted since it was too late to drop her vendetta against Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Although Nina thought she should mitigate the damage and come clean about the SEC tip, Ava insisted that was a terrible idea.
Ava warned that Nina would lose everything if she did and felt no one would suspect her.
Since Nina had gotten away with murder, Ava urged her not to tell anyone where to find the body!
After Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) donated her bone marrow, she spoke to a very weak Willow over the phone through the protective barrier.
Once Willow expressed her gratitude ahead of her own procedure, Liesl insisted she was family and knew Willow was a survivor since it was in her blood.
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) also found Liesl at GH and made a pitch to get their relationship back on track.
Although Liesl admitted Scott still had her heart, she shared that heart with the children she’d lost.
Since Scott inadvertently destroyed The Haunted Star where Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) died, that felt like a gift.
Scott had done many things right, but Liesl couldn’t see past the fact that he sided with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
Liesl insisted that she had to side with the memory of her daughter, so she shut down Scott’s reunion attempt.
Once Scott made it to The Savoy, he let Ava and Nina know that his relationship was over.
Scott suggested that if you mess with family, there was no coming back from it.
After Nina decided she wouldn’t tell Willow the truth, Ava was relieved for her sake and shared a toast with her.
Next, Josslyn caught up with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at the hospital, so that led to some talk about the frozen assets.
Although Joss offered to let Carly dip into her trust fund, Carly insisted it wasn’t necessary.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) showed up and saved Josslyn from a conversation with Carly about her relationship with Dex, which was now out in the open like Carly and Drew’s.
After Josslyn left, Diane told Carly and Drew that things would get worse before they got better.
Although Diane tried to get Carly’s private account unfrozen, she had no luck with the judge.
Drew suggested he could loan Carly some Quartermaine money, but Diane advised against it since it’d be a bad look in court.
Diane also pointed out that couldn’t represent them both, so Drew convinced Carly that Diane should be her lawyer instead of his.
Once Diane said she’d be in touch with further news, she let Carly and Drew know that they looked great together.
Drew reassured Carly that they could take on the world as long as a team and embraced her.
Back with Josslyn, she visited Willow through the protective barrier and spoke to her over the phone.
Willow wanted to hear something normal from the outside world, so Josslyn hinted about someone new she was seeing.
Although Willow fished to find out if it was someone she knew, she ultimately just cared about whether Joss was happy.
Both Willow and Josslyn were nervous yet hopeful about the future.
On the hospital rooftop, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) met with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and revealed that he’d decided not to use the Pikeman evidence against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Since Michael was unwilling to tear his family apart and force his siblings to choose sides, he wasn’t going to turn Sonny in for his crimes.
Dex ranted about all the risks he’d taken and felt he was screwed, but Michael suggested he could give him enough money for a new life and help him disappear.
After Dex said he’d have to give up his life in Port Charles, he added that he’d grown very attached to this city.
Michael asked if it was the city or Josslyn, though he clearly already knew the answer!
Later, Josslyn caught up with Dex on the rooftop, so he hugged her before admittng he had to say goodbye.
In Sonny’s office, he had one of his men pick Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) up and bring him over for a meeting.
Sonny acknowledged how Valentin had played the hero in Greenland and wasn’t going to forget that.
However, Sonny wanted to talk about Valentin’s associates since they nearly got Sonny and his people killed.
When Valentin facilitated the deal, Sonny thought it seemed like he left out a few important details.
Valentin defended himself since he was a middleman and wasn’t given the specifics.
After Sonny mentioned the sniper who tried to take him out, he asked if Valentin knew he had a target on his back.
Valentin said he didn’t know, but he wasn’t surprised based on Pikeman’s reputation.
Once Valentin mentioned that Pikeman wanted to work with Sonny again, Sonny said to tell them that he wasn’t interested.
Sonny also gave Valentin updates on the explosives in the shipment and warned that he wouldn’t be Pikeman’s collateral damage.
Valentin asked if Sonny wanted him to tell Pikeman there was no deal, but Sonny gave him a different message to deliver instead.
After Sonny said that he was open to another deal that would facilitate another shipment, Pikeman had to get their affairs in order first.
That meant they needed to figure out who came after Sonny.
Sonny insisted they couldn’t move forward until that happened, so Valentin agreed to convey the message.
Later, Sonny got a surprise visitor when Michael showed up looking all intense for a meeting with his dad.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Michael will have a lot to talk about, so stay tuned!
