General Hospital Spoilers Recap: Monday, June 26 – ‘Eddie’ Takes the Stage – Sonny Gains a Housemate

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, June 26, reveals that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) confessed that she only asked Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to come to the yoga studio because she thought Diane would be busy with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

Diane shut down the idea that she was involved with Robert romantically and wanted to do yoga as planned, but Alexis convinced to go grab a meal together instead.

Once Robert, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) showed up at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house, they found her burning WSB documents from her past.

Although Robert tried to convince Anna that she’d made up for her mistakes, Anna brought up the times that he’d called her a traitor.

Since Laura and Felicia were hoping to get a table at The Savoy, they sent Robert ahead to grab one for them.

Anna eventually decided she wanted to help Laura on her Chechnya trip, but Laura didn’t think it’d be a good look for Anna to run like that.

Instead, Laura gave Anna a pep talk about finding a new path or letting one find her instead.

Meanwhile, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) was surprised over Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) being nice to her. With Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) set to leave town soon, Esme worried that the peace wouldn’t last.

Once Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) showed up hoping to hang out and watch TV with Spencer, Esme acted like she would join them.

However, Esme quickly admitted she was just kidding and said she’d be headed to bed after she put Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) down.

Trina was weirded out over Spencer and Esme getting along, but Spencer assured Trina that he wasn’t on the same side with his ex.

After Trina hinted about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) betraying Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Esme popped back in to grab Ace’s pacifier.

Spencer complained to Trina once they were alone, but she felt he had to make the best of the situation until they could get real proof against Esme.

That led to Spencer flashing back to the safe deposit evidence that he secretly kept.

Esme later interrupted once more since Ace was fussy and she couldn’t sing his favorite song the way Spencer sang it.

Trina decided to leave despite Spencer’s objections and seemed like she was feeling on the outside of this whole co-parenting thing.

At The Savoy, “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) introduced himself to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who was surprised to see him out of the hospital.

“Eddie” wanted to know about the kind of musical acts that they booked at The Savoy and offered to buy Nina a drink.

Next, “Eddie” met Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so they saw for themselves that Ned definitely wasn’t faking his condition.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) were all troubled by Ned’s GH disappearance, so Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) investigated and found his wallet on the floor.

When Nina tried calling Olivia’s phone, Olivia assumed it was about work stuff and didn’t answer. Nina then tried Brook Lynn, who got updates on Ned and revealed to the others that he was at The Savoy.

While Olivia texted Nina about being on their way, Robert showed up at the nightclub and started pestering Sonny about his treatment of Diane.

Once Diane arrived, she pulled Robert away for a private conversation and defended her working relationship with Sonny.

Diane also insisted she wasn’t the kind of woman who would let herself be chosen by default, so coming in second to Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) wasn’t enough for her.

Since the opening act couldn’t make it, “Eddie” got up on stage with a guitar and wanted to perform. When “Eddie” got too dizzy to stand, he stumbled until Chase helped him sit down elsewhere.

“Eddie” wound up snapping at Olivia, but he was ultimately sorry for the pain she was in. Olivia cried as she understood that “Eddie” couldn’t love someone he didn’t know.

When “Eddie” refused to come back to the Quartermaine mansion or let Olivia put him in a suite, Sonny told Olivia that he’d take Ned back to his penthouse. Nina looked alarmed over that news for obvious reasons!

General Hospital spoilers say “Eddie” will continue to cause problems for Nina, so stick with the ABC soap.
