General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 1, reveals that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) wasn’t happy about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) joining in the poolside fun, but Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) pushed him to let it go and avoid more fights.
If nothing else, Trina pushed Spencer to do it for Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) sake since he needed to look responsible to a judge.
Spencer wound up shaking Dex’s hand and letting him offer some lessons in blocking punches, so Trina and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) were pleased.
Later, Josslyn spoke to Dex in private about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) needing evidence against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to stay out of prison.
Although Carly wouldn’t make a deal with the feds herself, Josslyn wanted to get the proof from Dex and turn Sonny in to save her mom.
In the pool, Trina reflected on the paternity confirmation and all the drama that came with it.
Talk turned to Spencer getting a safe deposit box key from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and instructions to safeguard his family.
Since Victor likely meant Ace, Trina convinced Spencer they should go open the box right away and see who Victor considered the biggest threat to be.
Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) got a visit from Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), who explained why she kept her paternity suspicions to herself and offered advice about his relationship with Trina.
Curtis admitted he was unsure of where things stood with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), but he knew he wanted to come home and give his marriage another shot after a “situation” arose with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Once Stella realized Jordan didn’t know about him moving home yet, she pushed Curtis to talk to Jordan and said he needed to do it now.
At GH, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) told Jordan about Molly Lansing-Davis’ (temporarily played by Holiday Mia Kriegel) fertility issues and how he messed up by saying things that drove her away.
Molly slept at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house last night, but she eventually showed up to apologize for spending the night away. TJ insisted he was sorry instead and asked forgiveness for his inconsiderate words.
Molly didn’t blame TJ and now understood she didn’t have to deal with everything on her own. After Molly hinted about anything being possible, she acknowledged that there was more than one way to start a family and embraced TJ.
When Portia ran into Jordan at the hospital, she hinted that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) could use a friend right about now.
Jordan realized the DNA test results proved Curtis was Trina’s father, so she said she’d talk to Taggert and asked how Curtis was holding up.
Portia honestly didn’t know, but she was hopeful about Curtis working things out with Stella.
Once Portia mentioned them making progress by the time she got home, Jordan realized Curtis had moved back in with his wife. Portia confirmed it and suggested it was the only way to make their marriage work.
At Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) apartment, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) picked up the Cassadine crest necklace that Victor had left Charlotte Cassadine (AnaSofia Bianchi) and hoped that Charlotte could create a new legacy for her family.
There was also talk about the WSB arresting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), which happened because Victor stole a copy of her personal file and arranged for it to go public after his death.
After Laura inquired about the property that was left to Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) in Chechnya, Valentin recalled visiting that property and acknowledged that it was dangerous to travel in a war-torn country.
Since Laura was determined to find out if that’s where Nikolas was hiding, Valentin refused to let her go alone.
aura seemed touched over Valentin’s offer and didn’t know what to say, but Valentin just told her to let him know when she was leaving.
Next, Anna faced WSB backlash since there was a big tabloid cover story about her past as a double agent.
There was nothing in the article that the WSB didn’t already know, but she was being accused of treason now that it had gone public.
Since Valentin ordered Martin Grey (Michael A. Knight) to defend Anna, he vowed to help her.
However, Anna knew the WSB was charging her with treason to “cover their own asses” now that everything was in the media spotlight.
Agent Hursley (Jeff Griggs) said the new head of the WSB could no longer turn a blind eye to Anna’s old crimes.
If Anna chose to fight back, Agent Hursley acted like they’d have to take a closer look at Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and other colleagues.
Anna felt she knew what was being asked of her, so she pointed out she might have other secrets left to spill.
If anything happened to the people she cared about, Anna warned that she’d take the bureau down with her.
Agent Hursley and Anna eventually came to an understanding, so Martin privately asked Anna if they were going ahead with the charges or not.
Anna said they weren’t and suggested this was all Victor’s doing.
“He wanted my resignation. I’m no longer an agent…nor will I ever be again,” Anna said.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna will have to come to grips with that news, so stay tuned for updates on what’s next for her.
