General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 6, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) were both frustrated over the lack of info on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Nina expressed her gratitude for how supportive Kristina had been of her relationship with Sonny and wished Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) could join “Team Nina” as well.
Kristina knew Michael was good at holding a grudge, but she hoped maybe Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) could get him to come around.
Later, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) warned Nina that if Sonny went to prison, then he couldn’t look out for his family. Nina would be vulnerable along with Sonny’s children if he couldn’t beat the charges.
In Michael’s office, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) barged in and pushed his brother to admit he turned Sonny in to the feds.
Although Dante felt that Michael wanted to crush Sonny, Michael denied it and argued that the situation with Willow made him realize how fragile life was.
Michael claimed he wouldn’t hurt his siblings by sending Sonny to prison and claimed he meant it when he made peace with his father. Dante was sorry for accusing Michael, who was just pleased that they could clear things up.
Kristina overheard the tail end of Dante and Michael’s conversation, so she grilled Michael next.
Although Kristina didn’t think Michael turned Sonny in, she pushed him to admit he was glad Sonny went down. Michael acknowledged that Sonny probably deserved to be prosecuted for his crimes, but he assured Kristina that he wasn’t happy about the arrest.
Kristina didn’t believe the charges against Sonny were legit, but Michael acted like they had no idea what Sonny really did in his business. As for whether Sonny could beat the charges, Michael wasn’t optimistic.
Back with Dante, he learned from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) that Cody took the week off. Dante was surprised to hear that news came from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
After Dante left Cody a voicemail, he called Mac Scorpio (John J. York) in hopes that he might’ve seen or heard from Cody.
At Ferncliff, Sam showed her ID at the front desk and was asked to fill out more paperwork about Cody’s behavioral issues.
In Cody’s room, he paced around and jumped on the bed at one point. Cody kept ranting about the government and acted paranoid before shouting for them to just let him go.
The staff member watching over Cody gave him a pill to sleep, but Cody only pretended to take it. That gave Cody a chance to slip out of his room undetected soon after.
In Sasha’s room, she plastered on a smile when Dr. Montague came and thanked him for everything he’d done to help her. Sasha acted like she was ready to go home, but Dr. Montague warned that she’d relapse if he let her go.
Dr. Montague argued that this wasn’t the end for Sasha – not until he said so. Sasha cried out for help and tried to flee, but she passed out after Dr. Montague gave her another injection.
When Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) saw how out of it Sasha was later, she thought maybe they should revisit the idea of transferring Sasha elsewhere and planned to speak with Dr. Montague.
Back with Sam, she acted like it was quite a coincidence running into Dr. Montague again. Dr. Montague got updates on Sam trying to support a friend, but she clarified that he wasn’t her boyfriend.
After Cody snuck out of his room, he made his way into Sasha’s room next. Once Cody saw the drugged-up state Sasha was in, he wondered aloud what they’d done to her.
At GH, Alexis offered encouragement to Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) since the surrogate was having her procedure done today.
Alexis also offered some well wishes from Kristina, so Molly was just glad her sister didn’t show up and send her over the edge.
Although Molly was nervous, Alexis insisted that Molly was going to be a mother and that was what mattered – even if it wasn’t happening the traditional way.
After TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) reassured Molly next, Andrea Gates (Lily Anne Harrison) arrived and told the hopeful parents-to-be that she was certain about moving ahead with the surrogacy.
Once a nurse took Andrea back for the procedure, Molly and TJ agreed they didn’t have the energy for Kristina’s drama, so they chose to focus on themselves and nothing else. TJ and Molly were on the same page about getting through this together.
Later, Andrea returned following the procedure and suggested they’d find out more in two weeks. Molly had a good feeling about this pregnancy happening and hugged TJ in anticipation.
In Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) suite, she asked if Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) thought Pikeman had something to do with Sonny’s arrest.
Valentin rattled off a bunch of reasons why they didn’t as he dismissed the idea, but Anna asked if he’d get in touch with his contact and see what he could find out.
Valentin made a phone call and claimed the guy didn’t want to get into it over the phone, so he put his jacket on and prepared to go meet him. That gave Anna a chance to secretly follow Valentin, who eventually made his way to a fancy house.
Valentin talked about being right on time and said they should get this over with as Anna eavesdropped. Once Valentin was on his way out, he said the person he met with knew what to do.
Valentin wanted to know when they heard back and warned that this was important. Anna hid as Valentin strolled by moments later and then rushed to beat him back to the hotel suite, where she donned a robe and put her hair in a towel.
When Anna claimed she just took a hot shower, Valentin thought that was odd since a hotel employee just informed him there was a problem with the hot water on their floor.
Anna also caught Valentin in a lie since he claimed he met with his contact at a café near the airport. Valentin assured Anna that his contact confirmed Pikeman had nothing to do with Sonny’s arrest.
Anna acted like maybe they just didn’t want to spill too much in a public place, but Valentin said they would’ve arranged something private if they had more info for him.
After Anna thanked Valentin for looking into this for her, she commented on how he made such good time getting back. Anna pointed out there’s normally a lot of traffic near the airport, but Valentin smiled and agreed it didn’t take him long at all.
