General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) will prove just how important Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and this baby are to him. When Esme takes off into the woods on Spoon Island, Ryan will follow and apparently leave his hostages behind.
GH fans saw how thrilled Ryan was when he showed up at Wyndemere and found Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Ryan has these women right where he wants them and can control their fates.
That’s why it’ll be truly shocking for Ryan to walk away from this golden opportunity.
It turns out Ryan will chase after a different one instead since he needs Esme to carry on his sinister legacy.
The problem is Esme has amnesia and certainly isn’t the same manipulative monster she used to be in this state.
Ryan already told Esme how much he wishes she could remember who she is since he doesn’t like the pathetic whimpering creature she’s become.
Of course, we know that Esme will go into labor in the midst of all this drama. This baby’s ill-timed arrival could make a terrible situation even worse.
Since Esme is about to give birth and Ryan will try to track her down, there’s the potential for him to deliver the baby.
Ryan might decide to steal his grandchild since there’s no hope for Esme in his eyes – at least as long as her memories are gone.
Instead, Ryan might embrace the idea of raising his grandson or granddaughter himself.
Maybe Ryan will think he can mold the kid into a little serial killer who grows up to be just like Grandpa.
Once Ryan abandons any hope of Esme being the one to carry on his sinister legacy, he might put his faith in his grandbaby.
Ryan may get excited at the prospect of having a dangerous mini-me.
Will Esme freak out when Ryan steals her newborn? Will Ryan indeed take the baby and run once his grandchild comes into the world?
Ryan may not get very far under the circumstances, but having him kidnap the baby for a bit would certainly shake things up.
The news would definitely rattle Esme even more during her horrible ordeal.
