General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will play a crucial role in uncovering a new clue in the hook investigation. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) could use all the help he can get, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of January 16-20, Sam will do some brainstorming with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), so that could get the ball rolling on what’s next.
Alexis will have a strategy session with Sam, who’ll be trying to figure a few things out.
Meanwhile, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) will manage to stir up suspicions.
That might be due to her fixation on “The Hook” and her strange connection to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Of course, it’s also possible Heather’s gunshot wound could get infected and leave her in need of treatment at GH.
That could lead to questions about how Heather took a bullet to the wrist when she was supposed to be locked up at Spring Ridge!
Regardless, Sam will eventually team up with Dante to uncover a critical piece of information.

We can’t forget that “The Hook’s” note talked about “me and mine,” so the wheels could start turning for Dante and Sam about a family angle.
This could lead to the realization that Heather might’ve had a child with Ryan – and that child could be Esme Prince (Avery Pohl)!
GH fans already know that’s true, but Sam might work to prove the mother-daughter connection.
It’d be pretty simple for a sneaky PI like Sam to score some DNA samples for a secret test.
Will Sam use DNA results to prove Heather is Esme’s biological mom – giving her a motive to take up the hook to defend Esme?
Sam will definitely help with some new evidence, so proving Heather and Esme’s link is an interesting possibility to consider.
The walls could start closing in on Heather if the PCPD gets bio mom news, so she’d better be prepared for anything!
