General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) could be paired up following Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) exit. Cody needs a new love interest now – and the same goes for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) since she’s had a little time to grieve.
Sasha will always hold a special place in her heart for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), but people don’t usually dwell on lost loves for too long on soaps.
Besides, most fans are ready to see Sasha find some happiness after so much despair.
Sasha has had to deal with drug problems, the loss of Liam Corbin, accidentally running down Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), a messy guardianship, Brando’s death and more.
At this point, Sasha deserves the opportunity to just relax and have some fun flirting.
Of course, there’ll be a bit more sadness first for Cody since he’ll get updates on Britt’s hook drama.
The news of Britt’s tragedy will no doubt hit hard for Cody since he truly cared about her.
GH fans can expect Cody and Sasha to bond during the week of January 9-13, so they may relate over their losses and unlucky streaks.
Sasha and Cody have both made mistakes, but they have a chance to turn their lives around in 2023.
Maybe Cody could even play a role in helping Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) with her poker mess since Sasha’s money is on the line.
Cody knows how to influence the outcome of games, but he’ll have to be careful not to land on Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) bad side again!
Regardless, it’s easy to see how Sasha and Cody might end up together.
Now that we know Cody and Sasha will enjoy some bonding time, it could be a sign that they’re destined for happy couple status.
