General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will face a tricky task during May sweeps. Business will be booming at Deception, so Sasha will step up to help – and that’ll lead to her landing in familiar territory.
It turns out Sasha will have to head back to the set of her initial mental health episode, so this could mean she’ll be asked to do another on-air presentation.
Sasha previously lost touch with reality while promoting a baby-related product and imagined Liam Corbin was still alive in her arms.
It was a very traumatic experience for Sasha once she realized it was all in her head.
That was the catalyst for Sasha’s growing mental health concerns – including when she had a meltdown, smashed a car window and wound up facing the guardianship that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is currently taking advantage of.
However, Sasha has made great strides in her recovery since then, which is really a miracle considering she ultimately lost her beloved husband to “The Hook.”
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was Sasha’s rock, so it’s no doubt been tough for her to learn to live without him.
Sasha has found strength and overcome so much in recent months, but it could all come crumbling down in an instant if she’s not careful.
How will Sasha feel about the challenge that’s looming at Deception?
If Sasha is indeed asked to do a TV presentation, will it bring back bad memories and leave her worried about a repeat performance?
Sasha could struggle with fears about this turning into a triggering event and becoming another mental health crisis.
The last thing Sasha wants is to sink back down into the pit of despair and face another tough battle to climb out of it.
GH spoilers say Sasha will push Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) away during the week of May 8-12, so she may reject support ahead of all this.
Perhaps Sasha will feel like Carly’s got way too much going on to fret over her right now.
Nevertheless, there are hints about this being Sasha’s chance to triumph, so maybe she’ll continue to find strength within and conquer her fears in the end.
