General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could be onto Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), especially now that he’s shutting him out. GH fans know Sonny made Dex part of the Pikeman deal, so Dex latched onto this as the best path to taking him down.
However, Sonny has been more suspicious of Dex lately. We also know Sonny made a phone call that made it seem like he wanted Dex investigated, so that might’ve led to a sneaky move.
Since there are obviously some trust issues here, could Sonny have bugged Dex’s apartment?
It’d be easy for one of Sonny’s henchmen to plant a listening device without Dex even knowing about it.
If that’s true, then Sonny potentially overheard Dex’s whole confession to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and anything else that’s been said inside.
Dex recently laid out the details of working for someone else to take Sonny down, so Sonny may know Dex is plotting against him by now.
Depending on when the bug was potentially planted, Sonny might know about Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) involvement as well.
Regardless, Sonny caught Dex off guard when he suddenly decided he shouldn’t be privy to the latest Pikeman updates.
Dex made Sonny chicken piccata in the March 1 episode and tried to bond with him over a love of cooking.
Of course, there’s a good chance Sonny saw right through Dex’s clumsy attempt to butter him up.
If anything, Dex may have made himself even less trustworthy than before.
The fact that Dex is laying it on so thick only makes him seem more suspicious, so he’s probably not helping matters.
Whatever the case, Dex was confused when Sonny sent him home instead of including him in a private Pikeman meeting.
Sonny acted like Dex’s involvement was now a thing of the past, so could this be a reaction to the news about Dex’s game?
It’d be a great twist if Sonny was now onto Dex and maybe even Michael.
The trap Michael and Dex are setting could backfire spectacularly, so they could have a new crisis on their hands.
