For any other man, they might take Diane up on the offer to seize his kids and cart Carly off to lock-up — not that it’s a choice Diane would like — but Sonny doesn’t want any harm to come to the mother of his kids.
Of course, when Diane relays this truth to Nina and makes it clear to her that Sonny wants Carly around for the rest of his life, it’s going to cut deep in a way that Ava’s words haven’t yet.
