General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may have some good reasons to make Selina Wu (Lydia Look) pay soon. GH fans know Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) had doubts about whether Selina could be trusted after the warehouse shooting happened.
Although Selina later came through with the shooter’s belongings, there’s a chance she was just trying to throw Sonny off the trail.
It’s possible that Selina was the one who hired the hitman to take Sonny out, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Regardless, there are other reasons for Sonny to turn against Selina now that she’s dragging Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) into trouble.
Gladys clearly has a gambling addiction that Selina has taken advantage of repeatedly.
Of course, Selina has also encouraged Gladys to exploit Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) guardianship on more than one occasion.
Gladys was forced to sell Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage without Sasha’s knowledge of the deal and is once again facing a dilemma regarding her daughter-in-law’s finances.
Selina expects the $85,000 she’s owed, so Gladys will either have to steal the money from Sasha or get sneaky about selling off more of her assets.
However, Selina did offer an alternative when she suggested Gladys could essentially help her spy on Sonny and report back with info on his business dealings.
Sonny obviously wouldn’t approve if he knew Selina targeted Gladys and lured her into this twisted gambling web – nor would he like the fact that Sasha’s getting duped and cheated.
The fact that Selina’s trying to stab Sonny in the back by using his own relative may really be the last straw. When it comes to Sonny’s family, he doesn’t mess around!
Sonny isn’t particularly close to Gladys, but he feels obligated to look after her now that Brando is gone – and the same goes for Sasha.
Since Selina has been messing with people that Sonny cares about and is now trying to betray their alliance, things could get ugly.
At some point, Sonny is bound to find out exactly what’s gone down.
Once Gladys gets backed into a corner, she may end up confessing everything to Sonny and exposing Selina as a traitor.
Sonny could easily go after revenge on Selina by terminating their partnership and sparking a new mob war.
Although Sonny doesn’t like putting his loved ones in danger, he certainly can’t let Selina’s behavior slide without consequences.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny could fight back with some vengeful blows to Selina and her family’s organization, so stay tuned for updates on any brewing mob news.
