General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has a totally new approach on honesty – at least when it comes to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). There was a time when Spencer left Trina in the dark for her own protection, but he now understands that can do more harm than good.
Trina wants Spencer in her life, but she needs him to keep telling her the truth – even when it’s hard to hear sometimes.
Spencer’s off to a great start since he revealed the blackmail video that Ava Jerome (Maura West) gave him and even watched it with Trina by his side.
However, Spencer’s “no secrets” promise could get tougher if another bombshell lands in his hands – perhaps something more personal that would indeed hurt Trina.
GH writers might put Spencer to the test by having the truth about Trina’s paternity drop in his lap.
Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) may not be the one to blow all this up in the end. Instead, the show may force Spencer into a tight spot and give him a huge decision to make.
It’s easy to imagine Spencer overhearing something about Trina’s biological father shortly before Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) wedding is set to begin.
Spencer could eavesdrop on an argument involving Stella, Portia, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) or any combination of the three.
If Spencer finds out Trina’s bio dad is actually Curtis, that could leave him reeling.
It might be difficult for Spencer to cover his shock when he meets back up with Trina, so she could push for answers and remind him that he agreed not to keep things from her.
Although it would be incredibly painful for Spencer to break this news, it might be better for Trina to hear it from someone special.
Spencer cares about Trina and would be able to comfort her more than anyone else.
If Spencer’s the one who has to spill the beans, it could set the stage for Trina to barge in the wedding and create a major scene.
Portia definitely won’t be getting a drama-free marriage ceremony, so she’d better prepare for backlash.
