General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) may have to think fast if Victor catches Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) on The Haunted Star, which seems inevitable under the circumstances.
Victor will deliver some terrible news to Spencer during the week of April 17-21, so that could involve his decision to throw Trina overboard – just like Spencer feared he would.
It’s clear that Spencer has no use for non-Cassadines other than Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who’s beneficial to his grand plan.
GH spoilers say Trina will serve no purpose for Victor and may make Spencer weak in his great-uncle’s eyes.
Victor wants to mold Spencer into the most ruthless version of himself and pave the way for him to take over as head of the family one day.
Trina brings out Spencer’s softer side and helps him understand compassion, but there’s no place for compassion in Victor’s world.
If Victor realizes Spencer’s been hiding Trina and threatens to get rid of her, how can Spencer stop him?
Since Victor only cares about the fate of the Cassadines, maybe Spencer will invent a new one.
Just before Victor tosses Trina into the water, Spencer might blurt out that she’s pregnant with the next Cassadine heir.
Perhaps Spencer will lie about Trina’s pregnancy to protect her from Victor’s wrath.
Of course, Victor wasn’t born yesterday and may assume Spencer’s just making up a story to save the woman he loves.
However, Spencer might ask if that’s a chance Victor is willing to take.
The Cassadines are everything to Victor, so could he really risk getting rid of a Cassadine bun in the oven?
Victor might relent and acknowledge that it’s at least possible Spencer’s telling the truth.
Until Victor can get proof either way, he might let Trina live.
That could buy Spencer and Trina a little more time to get off the ship and back home to Port Charles.
Naturally, Spencer and Trina haven’t even made love for the first time yet, so this pregnancy revelation would indeed be fake.
Even so, a lie like that could save Trina’s life and make her consider what it’d be like to give birth to the next Cassadine heir someday.
Spencer and Trina could start thinking about their long-term future as a fun bonus.
