General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will remain determined to get through this horrible ordeal together. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is in charge for now, but big changes are coming once the rescue team arrives.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) promised to bring Trina home – and that’s a promise he’ll do everything in his power to keep.
Of course, Curtis will have some help from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).
Trina and Spencer have also proven themselves to be pretty resourceful, so they’ll do their part to survive this crisis as a team.
Once it’s all over, Spencer and Trina may realize they’ll be facing a new challenge back in Port Charles.
Portia has been a nervous wreck over Trina’s situation and blames Spencer for the danger her daughter is stuck in.
As far as Portia’s concerned, Spencer has been nothing but trouble for Trina from day one.
During a recent conversation with Ava Jerome (Maura West), Portia warned that she’d make sure Trina never saw Spencer again – at least if Trina got out of this mess alive.
Ava tried to insist Portia could do more damage to her bond with Trina that way, but Portia will inevitably still disapprove of Spencer as a love interest for her daughter – especially after all this Victor chaos.
Spencer and Trina have been through a lot on The Haunted Star, so they’re feeling incredibly close and emotions are running high.
Once this nightmare is over, Trina and Spencer might be tempted to take a huge step together.
Could Spencer and Trina decide to elope? Trina might feel like the best way to get everyone to accept her relationship with Spencer is to just marry him.
In Trina’s mind, that might shut down complaints from Portia, Curtis, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and anyone else who dares to stand in their way.
GH writers like to do elopement stories from time to time – like when Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) married Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) in their awkward auto shop ceremony.
It’d be fun to see Spencer and Trina get an equally memorable quickie wedding.
Trina and Spencer feel like they belong with each other, so imagine the shockwaves their sudden marriage news would send.
This could even affect Spencer’s custody chances if the writers want to pick up that battle with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) again.
It’s not Spencer’s fault he became Victor’s hostage, so maybe he could still go after Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) custody sooner or later.
If so, Spencer could present a stable, loving two-parent home with Trina when the time comes. There’d be a lot of potential for drama in a story like that.
Whatever the case, Spencer and Trina could have wedding bells in their future – maybe faster than Portia and Trina’s other loved ones would like!
