General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, February 16 Recap – Maggie Reveals Esme’s Dad – Portia’s Confession Enrages Trina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 16, reveals that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) convinced the barmaid to stay and let him question her, but Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt) secretly armed herself with a cricket bat from behind the bar.

Dante stopped Maggie’s attack just before Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) arrived to call her out for lying about her identity.

Maggie got updates on Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) amnesia and the serial killer accusations, but she acted like Esme couldn’t have done anything like that.

Maggie also admitted she feared Esme’s father might’ve sent Sam and Dante to set a trap for her.

When pushed to reveal the man’s name, Maggie said he was the devil incarnate and finally divulged that it was Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).

Back in Port Charles, Esme was in total panic mode at Spring Ridge. Heather Webber (Alley Mills) put her hand over Esme’s mouth to try and quiet her screams.

Ryan pointed out they needed to hide the stabbed guard’s body, so he wound up trading clothes with him.

The guard was left dressed as Ryan in his chair while Ryan himself put on the security uniform.

Ryan also informed Esme that she was his daughter, so she was clearly horrified over the news.

Nevertheless, Esme was forced to take the road trip Ryan and Heather had in mind.

At the Metro Court, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) was sorry about having to bail on his Valentine’s Day celebration with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) early.

Felicia was cagey about the work she’d been doing on the side and eventually turned Mac’s attention to the hook case.

Mac talked about Heather stalling them without information and insisted she’d be headed back to the asylum soon.

Felicia wanted to speak with Ryan herself to see what she could find out about his hook involvement, but Mac shut down the idea.

Once Mac was gone, Felicia called Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to mention her delay in returning to the safe house since she had a stop to make.

On Thursday’s GH episode, Mac was headed to Spring Ridge when he noticed something on the side of the road and pulled his vehicle over.

Once Mac realized two women were standing there, he wondered if they needed help.

After Heather and Esme turned around, Mac drew his weapon and ordered them to get down on the ground.

Esme was frantic as Heather acted like Ryan forced them to escape.

Suddenly, Ryan attacked Mac from behind and knocked him out.

Although Ryan wanted to kill Mac, Heather convinced them they had to leave right now since the Spring Ridge alarm system was going off.

After Heather put Esme in Mac’s car, Ryan joined them and once again mentioned needing to make a stop before they continued on their journey.

At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) summoned Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) to dispose of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) body and ultimately sent him to the stables while she answered the door.

Felicia was there to ask if Ava would help with Ryan again since they believed he was connected to “The Hook.”

That led to a conversation about the earring found on Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) and Felicia’s belief that Ryan had someone doing his footwork.

After Ava agreed to pitch in, she opened the door to see Felicia out. That left both Felicia and Ava in shock at the sight of Ryan standing in front of them.

In the Metro Court ballroom, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) demanded to know what Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) had been hiding from her.

Portia opted to take Trina to a suite so that they wouldn’t create a public scene.

Behind closed doors, Trina talked about visiting Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and pushed for Portia’s secret.

Portia opened up about her affair with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), but Trina seemed confused since she already knew about that.

However, Portia eventually admitted that after Curtis ended things, she found out she was pregnant a few weeks later.

Trina connected the dots immediately and fumed over the realization that Curtis could be her biological father.

Portia pointed out that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) had gotten so excited over the positive pregnancy test.

It felt like a new beginning for their marriage at the time, so Portia never saw the point of finding out Trina’s paternity.

Trina flew into a rage since this was her identity they were talking about.

Portia confirmed that she never told Taggert and Curtis the truth, so Trina was beside herself with shock and anger.

Although Portia reached out to comfort her daughter, Trina ordered her to stop and could barely stand to look at her mom right now.

After Trina suggested she didn’t know who she was, she most definitely didn’t know who Portia was anymore.

Since Curtis and Taggert were concerned about what was going on, they put Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) through a grilling session.

Spencer explained that he’d gone with Trina to visit Stella, but he insisted this involved personal family info that he wasn’t privy to.

Taggert and Curtis ultimately decided to track Trina down along with Portia.

Right as Trina was about to walk out the hotel suite door, Curtis and Taggert stood in the doorway hoping for answers.

At the Metro Court restaurant, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) spoke to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about the possibility that she might find her way back to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) romantically, but Liz didn’t think that would happen.

Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) also quizzed Finn about his split from Elizabeth and suggested love didn’t have to be complicated with the right person.

Finn wished that were true as he gazed longingly at Liz.

Later, Finn got Elizabeth to have coffee with him since all the boys were out of the house tonight.

Over the phone, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) talked to Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and wanted to know who was buying what Pikeman was selling.

After Sonny finished discussing mob business, he turned his attention back to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as they called it a night.

Since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) knew Trina seemed upset earlier, she cornered Spencer to ask what happened.

Spencer assured Josslyn that he wasn’t to blame this time around, but he didn’t have the details or know if Trina was OK.

General Hospital spoilers say Trina will lean on Spencer for support soon, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH.
