General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 19, tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will have a special request for Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) ahead of their wedding. It turns out Portia and Curtis will want Marshall’s help at the ceremony, so this may involve playing his clarinet or serving some other important role.
Next, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will apparently blow up over Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) romantic interest in each other.
It seems Spencer will accuse Dex of sabotaging Joss’ relationship with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and blast Josslyn for dumping Cam.
Josslyn will snap that she’d never make Spencer choose sides, but she’ll think he clearly already has. Of course, we should point out that Spencer is making the wise choice considering Joss cheated on Cam behind his back!
However, Cameron will get fed up with Spencer’s outbursts. As Cam’s anger bubbles over, he’ll warn Spencer to stop fighting his battles for him.
Next, Dex will secretly meet with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and insist that the sooner their partnership is over, the better. Now that Dex is falling hard for Josslyn, he won’t want to drag this out.
That said, Dex will offer reassurance to Michael, so he may insist they’re on track to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and advise against bailing when they’re so close.
Meanwhile, Sonny will push Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for the truth in the GH chapel. Although Sonny will want Carly to admit the bio daughter deception was about revenge on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Carly will continue to deny it.
Sonny will warn that Carly can lie to herself, but she can’t lie to him. We’ll see Sonny fly into a rage as he tries to make Carly confess her selfish motives.
Even Michael will remain hesitant to forgive Carly, but Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will try to nudge him in that direction. Once Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gets updates, she should have sympathy for her mom and encourage Michael to forgive Carly as well.
Other GH spoilers say Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will get some shocking news, so that should be about Nina and Willow’s mother-daughter connection.
Nina will be a nervous wreck as she awaits her blood test results, so that anxiety will come out during a moment with Liesl. After Nina grips Obrecht’s arms and frantically insists time is slipping by, Liesl may urge her to take a deep breath and calm herself.
We should mention that Liesl is Willow’s blood relative as well. Nina is quite hopeful that she’ll be a bone marrow donor match, but it’d be an interesting twist if it turned out to be Liesl instead.
Since Liesl just said a final goodbye to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), it might warm her heart to be able to save Nina’s daughter after tragically losing her own.
Regardless, time is of the essence for Willow, who’s fading fast and desperately needs a bone marrow donor transplant to survive.
