General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will continue to process the news that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) could be his biological daughter. Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) lie has turned Curtis’ life upside down, but she wasn’t the only one who deceived him.
GH fans know Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) has a couple things working in her favor here.
Since Stella didn’t sit on the secret for long and ultimately forced the issue out in the open, Curtis seems to be giving her a pass for the most part.
It was Stella who let Trina know there was something Portia needed to come clean about.
Once Portia divulged the bio dad drama to Curtis as well, he got updates on Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) being in the loop.
Although Curtis will confront Jordan over her betrayal, she’ll make a convincing case for why this was really not her secret to spill.
Jordan will defend herself and may think the most important thing now is how Curtis chooses to move forward.
Curtis has been giving Trina some space to deal with the possibility that he might be her biological father, but he’ll reach out to her eventually.
Of course, Curtis will wonder how Trina’s holding up and will insist he’s there to support her in any way he can.
Once Curtis brings up the idea of getting a DNA test, he’ll point out that it would settle the matter of who Trina’s bio dad is once and for all.
However, Trina will have a bit of a hostile response and make it clear that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is her only dad.
Since Trina already has a father and doesn’t want another one, she’ll see no point in finding out her true paternity.
In Trina’s opinion, her DNA won’t change who her father is since she’s known and loved Taggert as her dad this whole time.
Curtis will respect Trina’s choice, but it’ll still sting during the week of February 27-March 3.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will wish he could have all the facts and know for sure if Trina was his daughter, but he won’t want to pressure her.
Naturally, there’s a good chance Trina will change her mind down the road, but she’ll reject the idea of a DNA test for now.
