General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, February 7 Recap – Portia’s Father & Brother Visit PC – Anna’s Ghost Leaves Haunting Message

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 7, reveals that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) met with Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) at Kelly’s, where she asked Eileen to step in at an event tomorrow.

Laura claimed she wasn’t up to it following the news about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so Eileen was stunned to hear both Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) were dead.

After Eileen claimed she wasn’t feeling well, she excused herself and headed out. Laura declared “mission accomplished” before seemingly sending a text on her phone.

In the GH chapel, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) gave Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) updates on Valentin’s death by drowning in Paris.

Once Victor talked about the importance of putting family first, Spencer revealed that he intended to by going after custody of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) baby.

That impressed Victor, who thought it was a genius move that could finally get Nikolas to fall back in line.

Spencer argued that he wanted to cut Nikolas out instead, but Victor still thought this baby could be leverage to get Nik back into the fold.

As for Spencer, Victor suggested that seeing him tapping into his natural-born instincts gave him hope again.

Later, Eileen cornered Victor to complain about Anna and Valentin’s deaths. After Eileen assumed Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was dead too, she declared she was out and no longer at Victor’s disposal.

Victor made it clear that this wasn’t Eileen’s decision and warned that if she crossed him, getting caught would be the least of her worries.

At the safehouse, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) thought back on how she once “haunted” Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and tricked him into a confession by pretending to be a ghost.

Anna revealed that she’d already recorded a haunting message, but Valentin didn’t think trying to guilt Victor into a confession would work.

Felicia explained that she’d chosen a different target – and soon after, Eileen freaked out over Anna’s ominous voice repeating “you’re next” through her car radio.

Back at Kelly’s, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) realized Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) wanted to protect Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and assumed this was because of the lie Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) told.

Jordan assumed Taggert meant the paternity lie and got flustered, but it became clear that Taggert just meant the affair.

Taggert thought Jordan feared Portia would be unfaithful again, but Jordan actually thought Portia would do anything not to lose Curtis.

When Laura appeared, she mentioned that Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) was ill and would be unable to officiate the wedding.

Jordan was taken aback when she realized Stella was suddenly bailing on her duties.

At The Savoy, Curtis had a wonderful surprise for Portia.

Although Portia’s mother couldn’t travel because of her condition, Curtis hired a caretaker for her and brought two other relatives to town.

Dr. Sterling Robinson (Ricco Ross) was introduced as Portia’s father and Ezekiel “Zeke” Robinson was revealed as her brother.

Trina was excited to see her grandpa and Uncle Zeke at the rehearsal dinner.

When Zeke presented a family heirloom broach from Portia’s mom, he pushed his sister to accept it and joked about not being able to wear it himself.

Portia was moved over Curtis bringing Zeke and Sterling to town, but she grew concerned when he revealed that Stella was supposedly ill and couldn’t marry them tomorrow after all.

After Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) delivered an envelope that was a gift from Selina Wu (Lydia Look), he told Curtis that he wasn’t in the mood to stick around and celebrate.

Once Laura arrived, she assured Portia and Curtis that she’d be glad to take over as officiant.

Portia privately left Stella a voicemail and seemed on edge over her backing out.

Over with Trina, she joined Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and learned that Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) was out of town checking out a few med schools.

When Marshall wondered about Trina’s date for the evening, she said she knew better than to bring Spencer to a family event.

As for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), he let Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) know he was sorry about her breakup from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Elizabeth worried about Cam’s own split from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), but Drew felt confident Liz would be there for him.

That left Elizabeth fearful about what could happen if she wasn’t there for Cameron.

When Drew crossed paths with Marshall, he heard about Curtis wanting his father to perform at the wedding.

Drew didn’t think Marshall would fail if he did, especially since the most important thing was playing from the heart.

Trina interrupted Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) lovey-dovey moment to ask how close the DA was to nailing Esme.

Molly admitted that the defense might argue for a reduced punishment or even a dismissal of charges altogether.

After Curtis hit the dance floor with Trina, Portia got some supportive words from her dad. Sterling thought Portia was every father’s dream daughter – and that went for his granddaughter, too.

When Spencer showed up, he watched Trina dancing and smiled at the sight of her having fun.

At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) panicked as she pushed Nikolas to wake up and ultimately realized he wasn’t breathing.

Once Austin arrived at the door and insisted it was important, Ava sent him to wait in the sitting room.

That gave Ava a chance to drag Nikolas’ dead body out to the stables, where she said she was so sorry and added that she did love him.

Ava locked Nikolas in a storage closet before turning around to find Austin there – and he’d clearly seen too much!

After Ava asked if Austin was going to call the cops, Austin wondered if there was any reason on this earth why he shouldn’t. Ava explained that Nikolas threatened to take Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) away, so she hit him.

Although Ava insisted she didn’t want to kill Nik, she assumed Austin thought she went after revenge.

Ava maintained that Nikolas was trying to take her daughter, but Austin suggested that sounded more like a motive than a defense.

However, Ava argued that it wouldn’t matter if she meant to kill Nikolas or what the court might rule.

Victor would condemn and sentence Ava himself, so Ava offered money, the house and her gallery – anything to keep Austin quiet!

Ava cried as she said this wasn’t who she was anymore and begged for some time to leave town with Avery.

Austin stopped Ava and revealed there was nothing she could say that would change his mind.

That left Ava worried, but Austin didn’t believe she wanted Nikolas dead and wasn’t going to report this to the authorities.

The only solution was for Victor to never find out what happened.

Ava wondered how they would keep Laura and Spencer from learning the truth, but Austin vowed to help her.

General Hospital spoilers say Ava and Austin’s teamwork will lead to some tricky situations, so stay tuned.
