General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 7, teases that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will realize she’s gone too far. Although Ava was desperate to stop Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) from going after Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), now she’s got a corpse-sized problem on her living room floor!
Things will take another shocking turn when Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) shows up and realizes Ava just killed Nikolas.
Once Austin hears what went down, he’ll resolve to help Ava with a cover-up. It won’t be long until Austin and Ava are disposing of Nikolas’ body somewhere, but at least they’ll be in this together.
Next, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will have a huge request – and it’ll most likely be for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Perhaps Spencer will seek support in the custody battle since Victor’s powerful resources could indeed be beneficial.
It won’t matter now that Nikolas is gone, but Spencer obviously won’t know that.
Whatever the case, Victor will be impressed by Spencer and the initiative he’s taking.
Spencer will get some complimentary words, but he could regret getting further tangled up in Victor’s twisted Cassadine web.
Of course, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is hoping to take Victor down, but he’ll think Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) plan is doomed.
Although Felicia will make a pitch on how to deal with Victor once and for all, Valentin just won’t believe it’s actually going to pay off.
At Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) rehearsal dinner, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will continue to fret over whether she should turn herself into the police.
As Liz mulls that over, she’ll have a pivotal conversation with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) – most likely about Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) split from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
It’ll leave Liz thinking about how heartbreaking it’d be if she couldn’t be there for Cam and his brothers during their toughest moments.
Liz may start to see Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) point about the cost of a confession being too high.
In the meantime, Curtis will get updates on a last-minute wedding hurdle, so he’ll have to break some difficult news to Portia.
Although there’ll be an obstacle that throws off their nuptials a bit, Portia and Curtis won’t let it ruin their big day.
It’s possible Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will bail on performing the ceremony since GH spoilers say her absence will be noted soon. Then again, there could be a venue problem or an issue with something that didn’t arrive in time for the ceremony.
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will make an important delivery, so he might be Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) errand boy and bring over a wedding present.
It might even be something that helps save Portia and Curtis’ party from becoming a disaster.
At Kelly’s, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) will sense that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is still quite protective of Curtis despite the fact that he’s moved on.
Taggert will grill Jordan about why, so that’ll lead to them coming clean about their true feelings for their exes.
Part of Taggert will always love Portia, so he should understand Jordan’s desire to watch over Curtis.
That said, Taggert might also think you have to know when it’s time to let go and let someone else do the protecting.
Naturally, Taggert won’t have the whole story! Portia is the one keeping a life-changing secret from Taggert, Curtis and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) since she’s not 100-percent sure of her daughter’s paternity.
Since Stella and Trina both got a similar hit through the ancestry site, it seems safe to assume Curtis is indeed Trina’s bio dad.
That shocker will come into play soon enough, so GH writers will keep laying the groundwork for the revelation.
Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll feel a sense of satisfaction.
Laura will believe she’s accomplished what she set out to do, so we’ll see if this involves her part in the Victor scheme or something else.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Laura will have questions about Nikolas’ disappearance soon, so that’ll put Ava in a tight spot.
