General Hospital spoilers update for Tuesday, January 3 tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will celebrate out of town while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) says goodbye to Port Charles, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) faces terror! Here’s how it’s going to go down.
Carly And Drew’s Celebration
Carly and Drew are celebrating New Year’s out of town, likely in the love nest he gave her a key to for Christmas.
Anxious to get Drew away from trying to track down Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) family of origin, she suggested a trip away.
Carly smiles and tells him that seeing him is the perfect way to celebrate, and they both are all smiles ear to ear.
Little does Carly know that back home in Port Charles, her daughter cowers in terror at the pier. The Hook is holding her weapon and getting ready to use it.
General Hospital Justice?
Meanwhile, at Kelly’s, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) continue their conversation after Joss leaves, on her way to Britt’s celebration.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) comes up and Dante asks Sam what justice might look like when applied to him.
Dante has had to walk a fine line between family loyalty and having to arrest his father for criminal activities since he first came to town.
Dante continues opening up to Sam about his and Sonny’s issues.
What About Britt?
Still on the Haunted Star at Britt’s big birthday bash that she helped set up along with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) asks “what about Britt?”
Britt left her party early with intentions of leaving Port Charles for good, not wanting family and friends to see her eventual deterioration and death from Huntingtons’ Disease.
Now someone’s talking about Britt and Maxie wants the scoop, no one has seen her in the party for a while. Maxie and Brad undoubtedly are worried about her.
Britt’s GH Goodbye
Britt is outside, apparently at the pier waiting for a boat to take her to her future. She seems a little nervous about her new adventure, even though she got a new identity and traveling papers from Selina Wu (Lydia Look) previously.
Britt says to herself it’s only ten minutes until she says goodbye to Port Charles. But the big question is, exactly how will her goodbye happen – she’s not far from where Josslyn’s in danger of attack by The Hook.
Meanwhile, back on the Haunted Star, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) continue to “fake date” thinking they’ll draw out a jealous Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Spencer theorizes that she is the Hook, and Trina has reminded him that they’re playing a dangerous game.
But it looks like their love game is getting more real by the minute for both of them.
Trina looks a bit pensive as Spencer looks in her eyes, after they say “I love you” to each other for effect, apparently. He tells her when she says it he almost believes it.
Who’s Keeping Secrets
At Wyndemere, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was horrified when Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) said Esmé jumped off the parapet, in a polar plunge to her likely doom!
Nikolas tries to convince Elizabeth that no one ever has to know, but Elizabeth doesn’t look so sure. He’d checked the shore and waters already but no trace of a body was found, even though Elizabeth doubted she’d have survived it.
Maybe the story will be Nikolas sent her away to Cassadine Island, like he’d planned to do after the baby was born anyway.
The Hook Terror Face To Face
At the pier, Josslyn cowers in fear trying to get away from the swings of The Hook!
It’s likely she may have been The Hook’s target all along, rather than Trina like has been the theory.
This time, The Hook had an excellent chance onboard The Haunted Star earlier, to take out both Trina and Spencer, but Maxie interrupted and they went back in from the deck.
Who’s going to save Josslyn, or will she be saved-Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) doesn’t seem to be around this time!
