General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 7, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) found Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) home alone baking celebratory brownies for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) since Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was a bone marrow match.
Drew wanted to go public as a couple and celebrate that as well, but Carly was worried due to the insider trading situation.
However, Drew felt enough time had passed for them to take their relationship out in the open.
Since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was presumed dead, Drew suggested he could bow out and let Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) take control of ELQ.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) obviously had other things on his mind, so Drew didn’t think he was a factor.
Carly was still a little reluctant, but Drew distracted her with lovemaking and requested a brownie afterward.
At the hospital, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) visited Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) on his way to his genetic screening results appointment.
After Marshall expressed concern over Portia and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) problems, he assured Portia that she didn’t have to justify anything to him.
That said, Marshall acknowledged that sometimes the instinct to protect the people you love couldn’t be trusted.
Portia had worried Marshall would turn against her over the secret she kept from Curtis, but he remained on good terms with her.
As for the genetic screening results, Portia urged Marshall to reach out to Curtis since he’d want to be there with his dad.
Meanwhile, Curtis was exiting a meeting at GH when Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) ran into him and realized there was already some marriage trouble with Portia.
That led to Alexis dragging Curtis off to Charlie’s Pub so they could unwind.
Next, Michael got a text from Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) up on the hospital roof, so he made sure Willow was OK to stay with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and dashed up there.
After Dex took the sim card out, he smashed his phone.
Dex seemed panicky as he relayed his concerns to Michael, who thought Dex would be dead if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was really onto him.
Although Dex worried since he was shut out of the Pikeman meeting, Michael was hopeful after hearing that Sonny ate Dex’s chicken piccata and told stories about his past.
Since Michael thought Sonny still trusted Dex enough to open up, he urged him not to push it on Pikeman and keep building that trust.
Back with Willow, she warned Nina that the kids were off-limits when it came to their conversation.
However, Willow did offer updates on Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and the potential issues with her being a donor since she was older than what they typically wanted.
Nina also asked how Willow was feeling, so Willow shared some symptoms – including brittle nails, which annoyed her.
That led to Nina offering up some special varnish she’d heard about through a story at Crimson, so Willow was grateful.
Nina was thankful for all the health news, but Willow admitted she was talking to her because Liesl asked her to.
Although Nina feared Liesl might’ve threatened to withhold her bone marrow donation if Willow didn’t do what she asked, Willow insisted that wasn’t the case.
Later, Michael met back up with Willow, who admitted her talk with Nina went well.
Nina really seemed to listen to her, but Willow assured Michael that she wasn’t forgetting who Nina was and what she’d done to their family.
At the Metro Court, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) derailed Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) discussion with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Sonny didn’t get the answers he was looking for from Ava, but he felt confident he’d get them eventually.
Afterward, Sonny asked Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) if she could keep him in the loop on Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) since Nina was so on edge.
Sonny also wanted Olivia to go easy on Nina at the hotel since she was having a tough time right now.
Talk turned to Carly sneaking around with Drew, so Olivia was surprised Sonny knew about the romance they were keeping quiet.
Right as Nina came around the corner, Olivia talked about Ned threatening to send the SEC after Carly and Drew.
Nina looked intrigued after seemingly overhearing Olivia’s info.
Over with Austin and Ava, they bickered over whether Sonny’s involvement in their Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) mess would help or hurt.
Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) eventually interrupted and hinted to Ava about an animal being left to rot in the stables.
Once Mason demanded Ava’s phone so he could put his number in, she acted like he could just tell her or give it to Austin.
Mason insisted on doing it himself right this minute, so Ava handed over her phone and let him.
At Charlie’s Pub, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) admitted her pregnancy test was negative, which left both Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) looking disappointed.
After Alexis and Curtis arrived, Molly talked to her daughter privately and heard about the pregnancy scare.
Alexis could tell Molly was dealing with some complicated emotions, so she urged her daughter to talk it out with TJ and accept that sometimes the plan changes.
TJ also opened up to Curtis about his brief excitement over the baby until he realized it was a false alarm.
Once Marshall summoned Curtis to the hospital, TJ rejoined Molly so they could get back to their family conversation.
Molly and TJ both confessed to wanting a baby, so they were thrilled to be on the same page.
At the bar, Alexis left Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) a voicemail since she didn’t like how they left their last interaction, so she was hopeful about talking again soon.
At GH, Portia quizzed Marshall about whether he thought there was any hope for her relationship with Curtis.
After Curtis got off the elevator, Portia looked nervous to see him.
