General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, August 24, indicates that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will stop by Kelly’s on a mission for answers. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will get quizzed about her Pentonville visit, so she’ll probably object to Sonny being so inquisitive about her time there.
However, Carly may relent and fill Sonny in on how her conversation with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) went. Perhaps Carly will also mention her distrust of Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) since she saw him visiting Pentonville, too.
Regardless, Sonny will collect all the info he can from Carly and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), who’s been tasked with tailing Austin.
Carly will also face Sonny’s alarm bells about the danger Drew’s facing, so he may support her idea about recruiting Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to hopefully score Drew’s early release.
At the gallery, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may put his foot in his mouth since Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will seem irritated over how he answers a question.
Fortunately, it looks like Spencer will manage to turn things around and make Trina understand what he’s trying to convey.
There’ll be more tension over Spencer playing house with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), but Trina really does get why Spencer wants to watch over his little brother.
Spencer will use Trina as a sounding board on Thursday’s GH episode, so there’ll be some close moments as she listens and offers some words of wisdom.
Next, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will stop by to see Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as he continues to tackle his rehab exercises, but her visit will be about more than just getting a progress report.
Jordan will assure Curtis of how much she cares, so she’ll want updates on his emotional well-being and not just the physical aspect of all this.
Other GH spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will have a special request for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), which might lead to her coming to Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) rescue.
Cody will make another display of fake insanity as he tries to convince Mac Scorpio (John J. York) to arrest him.
Of course, Cody’s ultimate goal will be to land at Ferncliff instead of prison so he can come through for struggling Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
Since we know Sam will hurl accusations at Cody later, she may call out his agenda and insist this isn’t the way to help Sasha. Cody doesn’t know what else to do, so he may reject Sam’s criticism if she doesn’t have a better solution.
Meanwhile, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will deal with more guilt and worry about her financial dilemma.
Since Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) demanded $50,000 and Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is also pushing for her payment in full, Gladys is stuck in a world of debt and drama right now.
Gladys will show up at a Deception meeting, where Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also be summoned. There’ll be an SOS call, so Brook Lynn will rush in and wonder what the big crisis is.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will fill Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in on some dreadful news, so they’ll talk about someone cruel plotting Deception’s takedown.
Once Maxie and Lucy bring Brook Lynn in the loop, she’ll fume over whatever Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and her secret partner have set in motion.
