General Hospital Spoilers Update: Wednesday, May 10 – Carly’s Idea Rejected – Esme’s Custody Fight – Tracy’s Theory

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 10, teases that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will insist that if it’s a war Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) wants, then he’s got one! Drew will be fed up over this insider trading mess and will want to retaliate.

Of course, Ned isn’t responsible since we know Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tipped off the SEC anonymously through Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

That’s why Ned will continue to defend himself – even after Drew’s latest physical attack.

Sooner or later, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will hopefully work past her skepticism and show some faith in her husband.

Ned could use at least one person who believes he’s not to blame.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and even Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) might start coming around as well, especially since Tracy will reveal a new theory – perhaps about who’s actually behind the trip to the SEC.

Will Tracy point the finger at Nina or could she have a hunch about another Port Charles resident?

Either way, Tracy isn’t shy about speaking her mind, so she’ll share what she’s thinking on Wednesday’s GH episode.

On the jet back from Greenland, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will be more determined than ever to make sure he’s granted custody of Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

While Spencer talks to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) about how he intends to pull that off, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will confide in Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) elsewhere on the plane.

After Laura delivers some news or makes a statement of some sort, Curtis will wonder if it applies to Spencer and Trina or just Laura herself.

If Laura suggests she’s eager to get Ace back in Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) arms, Curtis may doubt that Trina and Spencer feel the same way.

It sounds like a custody fight could be brewing once Spencer returns to Port Charles with Ace, so Esme will may have to be ready for another round of drama.

Speaking of drama, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) just walked in on some when she caught Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) making out with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).

Since Robert just suggested he’d like to see where things lead with Diane, she’ll confront him over this Holly kiss and push for the truth about who he really wants.

Although Holly was the one who moved in and locked lips with Robert first, he was still a willing participant.

Robert may struggle to pick a woman if he believes Holly is still an option, but Diane won’t like all the back and forth.

When Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) makes a comeback in Wednesday’s show, he’ll have some stern advice for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) – most likely about going easy on Spencer if she wants to repair the damage with Trina.

Over with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll send out an SOS call since the future of Deception will depend on it.

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will get updates on some issue that’s arisen for Maxie, who’ll also hope Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has recovered enough to pitch in.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will think Sasha’s doing well and won’t see that she needs a guardian anymore, but Sasha may not trust herself just yet.

Perhaps Sasha will still feel the need to keep Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) in that role as a crutch.

Whatever the case, Sasha will reject Carly’s idea – though she may end up having to show her independent side anyway.

Gladys might still be out of town at the moment, so Sasha may have to take action on her own when it comes to the help Maxie’s pushing for.

It sounds like there’ll be some big promotion that requires Sasha going live on the air again, so she’ll worry about having another major breakdown.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will have some time to prepare, but she’ll definitely battle some strong fears about how this situation could go wrong.
