General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will search for a missing family member during February sweeps. Despite a personal loss, Victor will be on a mission to find a Cassadine and uncover the truth.
Although Victor has been reluctant to accept the news of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) “death,” it makes sense that Valentin’s demise is his personal loss.
Valentin and his team will keep working to make sure Victor believes he’s gone for good.
It’s Nikolas’ whereabouts that should soon be a big question mark for Victor.
GH fans know Nikolas has caused plenty of trouble lately, but he’s still a Cassadine – and that means something to Victor.
That’s especially true since Victor could use all the Cassadines he can get ahead of the battle that’s brewing.
Victor keeps hinting at something huge that’s in the works, so he may not be pleased to learn he’s down a Cassadine in the fight.
Despite Victor’s problems with Nikolas and all the ways he’s threatened him, that doesn’t mean he’ll be OK with Nik just dropping off the map.
If Victor had decided to kill Nikolas, that’d have been one thing. Someone else killing Nikolas is something else entirely.
It’s just not something that a character outside the Cassadine clan can do and get away with it.
Of course, it seems Ava Jerome (Maura West) will try to make it look like Nikolas left town of his own freewill.
Ava certainly won’t want Victor to know she delivered a deadly blow to Nikolas’ head, so she’ll try to keep that bombshell under wraps.
However, Ava could run into some hurdles, even with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) in her corner on the cover-up.
Victor may grow suspicious of Ava and determine that she might’ve done something to take Nikolas’ out.
If Victor uncovers the truth, that may put Ava at risk. Victor could try to have Ava thrown behind bars, but it seems far more likely he might try to kill her.
That’s the Cassadine way when it comes to situations like this. Nikolas talked about an eye for an eye – and Victor could feel the same way if he learns Ava killed Nik.
It could drive Victor’s desire to kill Ava in retaliation, so Ava will no doubt worry about that possibility becoming a reality.
