General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, April 26 – Sonny Catches Nina on Lawyer Call – Maxie’s Problem – Victor’s Trap

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 26, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will wrap up her phone conversation with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) right as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) enters the room.

That’ll leave Sonny wondering why Nina is talking to her lawyer, so she’ll have to tell a few lies and cover her tracks.

Nina obviously won’t want Sonny to know that she just gave Martin the green light to expose Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for insider trading.

Martin has been instructed to “go all out” and keep Nina’s name out of it when he does.

However, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will soon grow suspicious and grill Nina about what she did.

It looks like Nina will lie to Ava too, so Ava will think Nina did the right thing by letting go of her grudge.

Of course, Ava knows Nina pretty well and may eventually realize she’s deceiving her.

We’ll see Ava deliver a stern warning to Nina within the next couple episodes, so she’ll at least warn her not to do anything she hasn’t already done!

Unfortunately, it seems like it’s too late for Nina to back out of this – not that she even wants to at this point.

Nina is quite committed to making Carly and Drew suffer, so Martin’s phone call to the SEC should be happening shortly.

As Willow gets ready for the nuptials, she’ll sense that Carly and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are up to something.

Josslyn and Carly may indeed have a few pre-wedding surprises in store – just to make sure Willow’s big day is extra special.

In the meantime, Carly will conceal how concerned she is for Drew now that he’s walking into such a dangerous situation.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will also be concerned over the possibility that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has set a trap.

As for Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), she’ll spill more about Victor’s technology from the 1980s and what he’s doing to bring it back.

This could lead to Holly divulging concerns about the pathogen while Victor’s busy going after it in the bunker near Greenland.

Victor will approach a door and insist everything he’s ever worked for is behind it.

We’ll see Victor get excited about the prospect of unleashing this incredibly destructive weapon and reducing the world’s population as planned.

Nearby, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will stand next to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) as they await further instructions from Victor.

Although Trina will warn that they can’t let Victor get his hands on the pathogen, there may not be much they can do at this point – not while Victor has the advantage.

Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will answer the door to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who’ll declare that they have a major problem.

Maxie will be sandwiched between Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Falconeri) when she relays the news of this issue, so maybe they can help find a solution.

There’s a good chance Maxie will be exaggerating some minor hiccup related to the seating chart or something along those lines, but everything will come together in the end.

General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will settle down once she makes the necessary updates, but more drama’s brewing once the ceremony gets underway later.
