General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 16, reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will calm down after her recent outburst and meet up with Ava Jerome (Maura West) for drinks, but that could bring another chance for her temper to flare.
Nina will ask Ava what they’re celebrating, but Ava may be cagey about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) plans and once again leave Nina feeling out of the loop.
Although Sonny’s trying to protect Nina, she feels like just another one of his employees who finds things out on a need-to-know basis.
That could lead to more problems if Nina can’t find a way to accept that some of Sonny’s business has to remain a secret.
However, Nina might get a distraction since Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will receive some good news on Wednesday’s GH episode.
That could involve the next step in Willow’s recovery and a chance to venture out beyond her bubble.
At the hospital, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will find Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and insist he hates to bother her, but he’ll also admit they have a problem.
There’ll be some issue related to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that Portia and Marshall need to discuss.
Meanwhile, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) will pester Curtis at his new rehab facility, where she’ll extend an offer.
It turns out Selina will want to take The Savoy off Curtis’ hands, but he may lash out over her trying to take advantage of his current situation.
What other General Hospital spoilers say is that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will catch Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) following Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), so he’ll have some questions.
Michael will want to know why Sonny’s having Dex follow Austin, so Dex will have to offer an explanation – at least if he wants to keep his latest agreement with Michael and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
At Ferncliff, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) will walk in on Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) having an intense conversation with Nurse Mandy (Daisy Wang), so he’ll grow suspicious and ask if there’s a problem.
Dr. Montague may worry about Sasha ratting out his unethical behavior, but he’ll probably urge Nurse Mandy to remember that Sasha is unwell and that her claims can’t be trusted.
Next, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will warn Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that Sasha is in danger, so he’ll think it’s time to do something drastic.
Sam will get updates on Cody’s growing concerns now that he’s witnessed Sasha’s fragile mental state for himself.
While Sam kicks off an investigation into Sasha’s care, Gladys will make a bold move to block Cody from ever seeing Sasha again.
At the PCPD, Gladys will tell Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that they have to keep Cody away from Sasha, so she may try to get a restraining order since Cody broke the rules at Ferncliff and upset her.
That could make Cody’s efforts to help Sasha even harder, but he won’t give up! If there’s a way to get Sasha out of this jam, Cody will find it with Sam’s help.
Finally, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will open up to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), so he’ll offer some sweet support as she copes with Curtis’ condition and all the drama happening in her family.
General Hospital spoilers say Spencer and Trina will enjoy some close moments, but more obstacles are ahead for this couple soon.
