General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 15, reveals that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) assumed the stop Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) had in mind involved Ava Jerome (Maura West). That frustrated Heather, who urged Ryan to get his head in the game instead of plotting a rendezvous with his “harlot.”
After Heather took back her valentine, she complained about doing all the hard work while Ryan just sat in his chair.
Heather mentioned letting that “perky wannabe princess” Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) cozy up to her, so Ryan flipped out and called her an idiot.
However, Heather assured Ryan that she hadn’t spilled anything significant to Felicia or the Scorpio brothers.
Ryan got updates on Heather stringing Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) along to keep her spot at Spring Ridge.
Once Heather insulted Ryan by suggesting he was out of practice, he shoved her against the wall and held the makeshift knife to her throat.
Heather was delighted to see the real Ryan back and told him to get ready since it was almost time for their escape.
After Heather took the gum she’d been chewing out of her mouth, she used it to jam the automatic door lock so that Ryan could walk free tonight.
In the recreational area, Heather found Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) reading a baby book and said those were for suckers.
Esme was worried about what would happen to her as well as her unborn child, but Heather raised suspicions by suggesting everything would be taken care of.
Heather covered by acting like Esme’s rich “baby daddy” wouldn’t let her languish in prison for long.
After a guard said it was five minutes until lights out, Heather offered to show Esme a shortcut back to her room.
That led to Heather and Esme landing in a restricted area, so they were stopped by a guard. Heather dropped her stolen keys and made excuses when the guard questioned her.
Just when it looked like Heather and Esme would get busted, Ryan stabbed the guard in the back and sent him hurling to the floor.
Once Ryan greeted Esme cheerfully, he suggested a road trip.
At the inn in Devon, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) convinced Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to return to the pub and see what else he could pry out of that barmaid, who clearly knew more than she was letting on.
Meanwhile, the innkeeper visited Sam and warned that Dante would be disappointed since the village closed early.
Sam acted like Dante just liked to take long walks before bed and then realized this innkeeper probably knew the village quite well.
Once Sam asked about Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt), the innkeeper eventually figured out she must mean Margaret the barmaid – who previously worked in America as a nanny.
At the pub, Maggie made plans to get on the next train to London and stole money from the register for her trip.
Before Maggie could take off, Dante appeared in the doorway and blocked her path.
Back in Port Charles on Wednesday’s GH episode, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) agreed to go with the flow since Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) wasn’t around for her wedding reception toast.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gave a toast instead and later admitted to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) it might be her last chance to tell everyone how she felt.
Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she gave Ava the news about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) trying to hide their romance – presumably for reasons that were less than legitimate.
After Portia and Curtis cut the cake, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) overcame his fears and performed a song for the happy couple on his clarinet.
Curtis was moved to tears over Marshall’s amazing wedding gift.
Since Trina still hadn’t turned up, Portia really started to worry.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) eventually mentioned that Trina texted her about getting some air with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), but Portia still seemed on edge.
At Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) hotel room, she let Trina and Spencer come inside. Trina didn’t see any evidence that Stella was sick, so Stella admitted to exaggerating and hinted that Portia would understand her reason for not being at the wedding.
Spencer said that the longer a secret was kept, the more damage it did – at least in his experience. Stella insisted this was a family matter, but Trina pointed out she was family now and wanted the truth.
After Stella declared that she couldn’t in good conscience be at the nuptials, she talked about things that had been left unsaid.
Trina wondered if Stella was upset about Portia having an affair with Curtis 20 years ago – or if maybe Stella thought Portia would cheat on Curtis because she cheated on Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).
Although Stella said this wasn’t about the affair exactly, Trina assumed that was part of it.
Stella mentioned keeping a secret from Curtis that led to him spending 40 years without a father, so she refused to keep a secret like that ever again.
Trina started freaking out and asked if there was something Portia didn’t know about Curtis. It wasn’t Stella’s place to confess, but she said there was something Portia needed to tell both Curtis and Trina.
Stella explained that it would be hard for Trina to hear, but she felt Trina would be better off for it.
After Stella hugged Trina and watched her leave with Spencer, she worried about her actions.
Stella questioned whether she did the right thing and prayed that she didn’t just screw up her family.
In the hallway, Spencer asked what that was about. Trina had no idea, but she vowed to find out and returned to the wedding reception.
Portia tossed her bouquet, which landed at Trina’s feet as she walked in with Spencer. Trina had a fierce expression, so Portia seemed rattled at the sight of her determined daughter.
General Hospital spoilers say Portia is about to face Trina’s grilling session, so stick with ABC’s GH.
