General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, February 22, tease that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will stop by Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house to discuss some unfinished business. Liz will offer more details on her criminal predicament and hope Scott can minimize the damage of a bad situation.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will show up and warn against making any rash decisions tonight.
Finn will once again push Liz to at least sleep on it before she turns herself into the cops, but Liz may feel like she’s delaying the inevitable.
Besides, with all the fugitive chaos and Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) involvement, Liz may think she’d be better off coming forward right away.
Regardless, Finn needs to butt out since this is between Liz and her lawyer.
It looks like Scott will do his best to work out a deal for Elizabeth in the coming episodes, so she should get off the hook for her role in Esme’s captivity crisis.
Meanwhile, Esme is stuck in a different crisis now that she’s in labor at Wyndemere.
Although Esme thankfully made her way back inside, there’s no time to get her to the hospital.
On Wednesday’s GH episode, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will insist the baby’s coming now, so it seems he’ll deliver it with an assist from Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
On the pier, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will declare that he needs to be on that island immediately.
Although Spencer will demand to get on the launch, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) may force Spencer to steer clear until all the escapees are accounted for.
At the hospital, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will quiz Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) about what he was doing at Wyndemere since it was a little late for a follow-up house call.
Felicia may assume Austin and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are romantically involved, so Austin might let her believe it since it’s better than the alternative.
Austin can’t exactly tell Felicia that he was there to help move Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) dead body!
Back on Spoon Island, Ava will certainly be tempted to pull the trigger on Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and end him permanently, but Ryan won’t think she’s actually going to do it.
Ryan will insist Ava’s not done with him yet, but we know more shots will be fired on Spoon Island.
Ava already pumped a bullet in Ryan’s shoulder, but will she fire another straight through the heart?
Ryan knows Ava killed Nikolas, so he could spill that info if she lets him live.
However, it may not matter anyway since the cops are searching the island now – and that means Nikolas’ corpse could be found.
Whatever the case, Ava agreed with Ryan’s “’til death do us part” comment, so she might surprise him if she ends his sick obsession forever and delivers a fatal gunshot wound.
Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will have some grim updates soon, so we’ll see if that involves news about Nikolas’ body, Ryan’s body or both.
Next, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) will visit Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and insist he’s Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) dad – no matter what a DNA test might say.
Although Taggert was hurt over Portia’s deception, he may want her to know that nothing will ever change the bond he shares with Trina.
Of course, Trina is free to connect with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) if he turns out to truly be her bio dad, but Taggert’s feelings toward Trina will remain the same.
General Hospital spoilers say Trina, Taggert, Curtis and Portia will all have more conflict to deal with, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH.
