General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 25, teases that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will be eager to escape from the catacombs with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) assistance.
Although Valentin and Anna will do their best to free Lucy from captivity, they may become hostages in the process.
Rene (Maria Tornberg) is hoping to score a hefty fee for Anna and Valentin, so she may deliver assuming Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) willing to hand over the money.
In other words, Valentin and Anna may end up trapped alongside Lucy, so it looks like all three of them will land in another jam.
While chaos erupts in Paris, Victor will realize he has a new enemy back in Port Charles.
After Victor stops someone from heading in the other direction, there’ll be some tense moments.
It looks like Victor will expect to keep playing the role of doting grandpa to Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain), but that’s not going to fly now that Charlotte understands his sinister side.
Instead, Charlotte will rage at Victor and blame him for being forced to spend so much time apart from her papa.
As for Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), he’ll give Laura Collins (Genie Francis) updates on his own run-in with Victor and how he tried to play hardball regarding Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) defense.
Laura may hope that Martin isn’t seriously considering tanking Esme’s case.
Although Martin acted like might sabotage his own client without Lucy’s safe return, he may admit it was an act of desperation.
At Kelly’s, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will help Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) cope with Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death.
Spencer won’t be sure how to bid Britt a final farewell, but he can keep all the good memories of Britt in his heart.
Britt’s memorial service is on the way soon, so Spencer will have to come to grips with her passing and find a way to show up for her.
Trina may urge Spencer to celebrate Britt’s life and move forward like the doc would’ve wanted.
Later, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will land on the hot seat. Trina and Spencer will grow suspicious of what Cam’s hiding, but he should keep his mouth shut about Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) romance with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Since Spencer already loathes Dex and senses trouble, he may connect the dots anyway and threaten to spill the beans to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
After Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gives Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) news on Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) deception problems, Olivia will play love doctor with a dose of good guidance.
Other GH spoilers say Carly and Josslyn will trade sob stories, so they’ll open up about their romantic woes and what they plan to do now.
There’s a lot at stake for Josslyn, so Carly will hope her daughter’s certain about pursuing this path with Dex.
Will Josslyn ever be able to mend her broken friendship with Cam?
Time will tell, but Carly may stand a better chance of patching things up with Drew romantically soon enough.
