General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, June 14 – Carly’s Move Backfires – Trina’s Freak-Out – Zeke Spots Familiar Face

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, June 14, indicate that some excitement’s on the way in Port Charles, but we’ve got a quick programming note to pass along first. Tuesday’s episode was preempted due to ongoing news coverage, so it’ll now air on Wednesday instead.

With that in mind, let’s talk about some of the shockers ahead. For starters, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have a poolside birthday gathering that leaves Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) hopeful about the future.

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will show up with a present for Curtis and seem willing to join the festivities, but things will quickly take a wrong turn.

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will welcome Trina to the family before Stella Henry (Vernee) pushes for a group photo, so Trina will have a bit of a freak-out.

It’ll be a lot for Trina to take in since she’s still getting used to her connection to Curtis and his relatives.

GH spoilers say Trina will need a moment to collect herself in the restroom, but Curtis will be understanding about the whole thing once she comes back.

In a private moment together, Curtis will open his present and see that it’s a picture frame decorated with pasta.

Since Curtis didn’t get all the cute childhood gifts that a dad would normally receive, Trina will give him one now and leave him touched.

After Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) fills Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in on the latest Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) drama, he’ll summon Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) for another legal strategy meeting involving the SEC case.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will reach out to Zeke first and try to let him know there’s a complication when it comes to their romance, but he’ll bail on her for his Drew meeting and plan to catch up with her later.

While Zeke’s sitting with Drew at the Metro Court, he’ll notice a familiar face nearby. Since Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) used to be his brother-in-law, Zeke will seem intrigued as he spots him.

After Jordan encounters Taggert and realizes he’s spent the morning getting intoxicated, she’ll take him up to his room and give him a bottle of water.

Taggert will end up weeping over Trina’s DNA results since he’ll feel like what matters most to him was yanked away.

Although Jordan will try to help Taggert see that his bond with Trina is forever, he’ll still have a hard time coping with Trina’s paternity and how it’s changed things.

Over with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), she’ll land in a tight spot with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) when she drags her feet on ending the guardianship.

Gladys will just be trying to extend her source of funds to pay off Selina Wu (Lydia Look), but Sasha will feel like Gladys doesn’t trust her or the progress she’s made.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will eventually get involved in the conversation, so she’ll seem suspicious over Gladys’ behavior and why she’s acting so against Sasha taking control of her own life.

Next, Carly’s move will backfire when she shows up at GH and tries to comfort Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).

Olivia will assume Carly’s there to trash Ned while he’s struggling to survive, so she’ll want no part of that.

Carly will back off and give Olivia some space since she’s dealing with so much right now.

Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will thankfully be there to support Olivia as she awaits updates.

General Hospital spoilers say TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will have to miss Curtis’ birthday party due to work, but that’ll give him a chance to deliver huge news to Olivia.

TJ will explain how Ned’s medical team plans to bring him out of his twilight state once the brain swelling has reduced and his vitals are up to par.

Olivia will find out that once Ned comes out of his anesthesia, he can wake up and have his cognitive abilities assessed.

Head injuries can certainly vary from person to person when it comes to the damage that’s sustained, but TJ will stay positive about Ned’s prognosis.

Olivia will cry with relief since she’ll finally see some light at the end of the tunnel!
