General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, March 8, tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will stand his ground, so it looks like he’ll shut down Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) attempt to talk at GH. Curtis will delay their conversation, especially since he’s about to get some shocking news.
That could be related to Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) genetic screening results.
Although Portia already suspects that perhaps Marshall was misdiagnosed and doesn’t have schizophrenia, seeing confirmation could still be pretty shocking for Curtis.
Next, Portia will have some hope when she spots Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) at the hospital.
It’ll leave Portia thinking Trina might have something to say to her, so we’ll see if Trina indeed does.
Of course, Trina may end up admitting she’s just there to support Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) since GH spoilers say she’ll be there for him during the custody crisis.
In the meantime, Spencer will complain to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about “that woman” and the fight Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) wants.
Esme will see the situation differently as she refuses to listen to any more lies and focuses on keeping her baby away from Spencer as well as Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
However, Laura will do her best to play peacemaker, so Esme will have some sort of proposal for her to consider.
Maybe Esme will hope the mayor can work out a house arrest arrangement at Laura’s place – though she certainly won’t want Spencer around.
Over with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she’ll ask if someone can ever forgive her.
It appears Elizabeth will stun Cameron Webber (William Lipton) with updates on her criminal behavior and hope he can understand her actions.
Elsewhere, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will get some crucial information that could help with Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) takedown.
Since Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) is being forced to cooperate, Anna will warn her to listen very carefully to instructions.
It’s important for Eileen to follow orders exactly if this plot’s going to work.
Finally, Victor will commiserate with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), so he’ll admit he’s beginning to feel better already.
Since Victor currently believes Valentin is dead, he’ll have a recent loss in common with Liesl as she grieves over Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
General Hospital spoilers say Obrecht and Victor could be headed into romantic territory if this bond continues to develop, so stay tuned.
