General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, May 17, tease that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will make a comment that sparks a big idea for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), who’ll call her a genius as the wheels start turning.
This might tie in with Spencer’s plan to become Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) guardian, but his efforts may not work out as well as he hopes!
Over with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll seem relieved as she tells someone that’s exactly what she wanted to hear.
However, Portia will indeed have some lingering concerns about Trina’s relationship with Spencer, which may be why she’ll reach out to Ava Jerome (Maura West) on Wednesday for some advice.
At The Savoy, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) will shock Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) by insisting she can make that DNA test go any way he wants, but he won’t seem pleased over her attempt to meddle.
Curtis may warn Selina to back off since he truly wants to know whether Trina is his biological daughter – no matter what the real DNA results may be.
Other GH spoilers say Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will mull over some options.
As Esme talks to Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll seem frustrated and will ask when she gets to live her life on her own terms.
Esme could easily get a job to support herself and find a new place to live soon.
If Spencer’s no longer living under the same roof with Esme and Ace, that could make him even more determined to go after custody.
As for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll extend an offer to someone in Wednesday’s episode.
Alexis just admitted The Invader hasn’t been everything she hoped it would be, so her offer could be about selling it or at least recruiting help for major changes.
Next, it looks like Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will dodge questions about her love life and perhaps about Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) feelings for Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), too.
Diane will insist if Mac Scorpio (John J. York) wants answers, then he’ll have to ask his brother!
In the meantime, Robert will do a little investigating now that he’s witnessed a suspicious interaction between Holly and Selina.
GH fans know Holly convinced Selina to put a pathogen in Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) drink in exchange for part of the Ice Princess necklace.
That pathogen resulted in Victor having performance issues in the bedroom.
Since Robert will grow concerned about Holly’s partnership with Selina, he’ll poke around and see if he can find out some news.
Holly will end up turning to someone for help later – and it looks like it’ll be Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) since she’ll pay a visit to Anna’s house on Wednesday’s show.
Finally, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will seek out Mac for a conversation, which could involve Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and the possibility that he’s innocent.
General Hospital spoilers say Cody’s legal situation isn’t his only problem since he’s still lying to his biological father, so Mac will have to get updates on that secret eventually.
