General Hospital Spoilers: Week of August 14 – Scary Assignment, Baby News, and Stunning Revelation

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 14-18 reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will move forward with a risky trap. It’ll come after someone targets Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) with a fire, so this might be Sonny’s effort to stop Pikeman before they do any more damage.

Then again, this could tie in with Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) since Sonny’s hoping to find out where he moved Nikolas Cassadine’s (last played by Adam Huss) body.

Nikolas is actually on life support somewhere, so that trail could lead to quite a shocker!

Regardless, Sonny will try to trap someone and could put Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) life on the line with his scary assignment.

There’ll be an alarming situation that forces Dex to move fast, so Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will monitor things and could fear that Dex is in over his head.

If Dex chooses not to reveal crucial details to Michael, that could also be cause for concern.

Michael may start to feel like his arrangement with Dex isn’t going to work if he’s going to keep secrets.

As for Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini), she’ll deliver a progress report on what she’s learned while working for Sonny, but she doesn’t realize he’s scamming her.

Betty will only learn what Sonny wants her to learn and will ultimately be used as a pawn in his own game.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) will remain worried about all the drama and will hope for reassurance, so she may reach out to Sonny again and demand answers about what he’s doing to end this nightmare.

Other GH spoilers say TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) will have a significant meeting that could determine their future.

This will presumably tie in with Molly and TJ’s goal of locking in the right surrogate to have their baby.

Since Molly will make an exciting announcement later, she may settle on the right surrogate with TJ and reveal that their family plans are moving forward.

Of course, there could be some issues that lead to that surrogate falling through. Something tells us the idea of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) pitching in isn’t over just yet!

Across town, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will get honest with someone about how she feels and what she wants.

Let’s hope Portia can get through to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and help him understand that they could still have a bright future together.

As for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), she’ll lean on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and get some support during a difficult time.

It turns out Willow Quartermaine (Katelyn MacMullen) will get some wonderful news, so her doctor may let her move beyond her bubble at the Quartermaine gatehouse.

Willow is ready to get back to normal and will look forward to eventually being cleared to return to work, even if that day takes a bit longer to arrive.

Meanwhile, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will make another attempt to help Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), but Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will stand in his way.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will be busy starting a new investigation, so that could lead to her uncovering some dirty Gladys details.

Elsewhere, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will try to get Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) tipsy, so maybe she’ll hope booze will loosen her granny’s lips.

Tracy has a secret partner and some shady plans at Deception, so Brook Lynn might hope she can use alcohol to pry more info out of her.

Back with Sonny, he’ll extend an offer, so that might bring another proposal that tempts “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) to stick around.

“Eddie” recently went missing from the Quartermaine mansion, but he won’t go too far.

Sonny could catch up with “Eddie” and deliver another pitch to keep him in Port Charles where he belongs.

Whatever the case, Tracy will end up fighting with “Eddie” in her presumably drunken state.

Since we know Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will get some stunning news, Tracy might let something slip about her suspicions regarding his dad’s health.

That could lead to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) finally coming clean about his ALS diagnosis.

Finally, Anna will get updates on a revelation that shakes her to the core. Will that involve even more of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) secrets or something else?

General Hospital spoilers say the week of August 14-18 will bring some chaos and confrontations, so stay tuned.
